I used to go here all the time when I was growing up. This was my first real barber shop and I loved it. I finally felt like I was in good hands. You can really tell the difference between a good hair cut and a bad one even if you’ve been doing the same thing for years and years. These men know they’re good at what they do and know there is little to no competition in the immediate area. However, that doesn’t justify multiple price increases. Especially when your customer service sucks. What im talking about is the long wait for a hair cut only to be skipped by someone walking in after me that just so happens to be close friends with one of the barbers. There’s no excuse for that and I don’t care how good a person is at what they do, if you don’t give your customers the most basic level of respect then you might as well be working in some crappy salon chain.

These guys are great and don’t confuse the service as being slow! as other places butcher cuts to rush you along to feed the register … these guys take care of each customer and that takes a bit longer, but if you want fast and uneven go to a chain. Super high level here for not much more than the inexperienced hair cuts out there. They really excel in the teenager early 20’s hair cuts.

I’ve been coming to Fresh Fades, all the way back from 2007. Fareed now does appointments (yay!). I text/call Fareed earlier in the week and he puts me down on his appointment list. I show up at my scheduled time and Fareed is usually ready for me or finishing up with his current client. The most I wait is 5 minutes, as he doesn’t like to rush perfection. Everytime I go to Fareed, I know I’ll be leaving real clean and fresh. He’s a cool guy to talk to. We talk about cars, sports, work, etc. He treats you like family rather than just a client. He’s very reasonable with appointments and can attempt to squeeze you in last minute, if possible. I appreciate all that he does and recommend coming to this barber shop! Ashraf and Ahmad are also great barbers. I’ve seen there work and wouldn’t hesitate to go to them. Fareed is my main guy, of course! Keep doing what you guys do best!
