I wanted to get my nails done somewhere nice for my wedding. My bouquet is pink and red roses, and I wanted nail art to match. My wedding is June 20. On March 31, I physically went into Frenchies in Woodbury to look around, look at their polish selection, and discuss nail art options. I was told they would use stencils to do my nail art and showed me some of the stencils. I made an appointment for June 19 for two gel manicures and pedicures for my sister and me and nail art for myself.

Overpriced and unprofessional! I’m not sure what happened to this location, but I have gone here more than a few times in the past. My last visit however was horrible. The nail tech did not know how to do nail art and apparently she was the only one that could do nail art which consisted of her only being able to do flowers or hearts. She was a very Chatty Cathy and spent more time talking than doing my nails. Took her over and hour just to do one hand. Not impressed and extremely disappointed. Would not recommend!

Wow, I can see why this place has such great reviews! My whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. When you arrive, they help you pick out a nail color (which isn’t easy because they have tons of options), then you wait in a quiet and secluded area in the back, where they have coffee and tea. I got the gel manicure and the process was quick and easy, and my nails have never looked better!! I’ve gone to a lot of different places and have never had results like these. I can’t wait to go back!

I was referred to Frenchies for my bridal nails. I made an appointment a few weeks ago for a practice round of some nail art for my bridal nails. The girl who did them took a while but she did different art on every two nails so I got to see a good amount of options. After the appointment, I made the actual appointment before my wedding weekend. And booked with her. About a week later I get a call that she left the salon and they were rebooking all her clients. I told the women that I was fine getting rebooked with someone else if they did nail art because I wanted a double French for my wedding nails. Not super hard, normal French with a thin line underneath. She said that would be fine and noted it in my appointment.

It was relaxing and I liked that the nail artist wasn’t chatty. But no cuticle work was done on my nails, so the nail polish looked pretty funny starting on the higher part of my nails, and the nail polish was bulky. I can do better than that myself and not pay those high prices.

She said someone left me a voice mail letting me know they canceled, but no messages were received. They should have sent emails or texts if appts were changing or canceled.
