We have the best experience going here! We traveled from Charlotte NC and purposely waited to get my son a haircut so he could get one here again at this barbershop while visiting Daytona! They are great with my son who’s only 4 and they cut his hair perfectly with having curly hair and a cowlick as well! Met the owner and he talked to us the entire time and also educated us about mens cuts while we were there! I’d give this place way more than 5 stars if I could because that’s how great they all are! The lady kept telling my son it was a spiderman hair cut which I thought was adorable as well! Thank you Frenchie for opening up such an awesome place for us to continue making traditions at!

One of the best classic barber shops I’ve ever frequented. All of the barbers are stellar, and I’ve never had a bad cut. These folks do a killer fade for just $20 (before tip obviously). They also offer veterans a discount which is respectable. Pro tip: Get here early on the weekends–I’m talking at least 30 minutes. Even at 30 minutes prior to opening, there will typically already be a line 5 or 6 people deep. They usually open with at least as many barbers so as long as you get there early you can be seated as soon as they open.

Mixed feelings. Have gone quite a few times already. Pros… 1. All the barbers I had were good and pros. 2. Cost/value is great!! A few challenges though. While all barbers are really good they can range from 3-5 stars. If you find one you like it is very difficult to catch them and they usually have a long wait line. In a case like this they will stop/take their break with out telling you. I waited almost an hour for one then they just dissappear and no one said anything… with that all being said. I still go and like the overall quality. I just don’t request a specific barbers anymore.

I just received the BEST haircut of my entire life!!! Being that I am over 50 years old that’s a lot of haircuts to compete with. It is now the 3rd time I have had LUCY cut my hair and I am, to say the least -Blown Away!!! Lucy is so focused, so professional, and puts her whole heart into each and every cut. There is just something truly inspiring about someone that takes such personal pride in what they do and has mastered their craft at this level. Watching Lucy cut hair is like watching an Olympian earn a Gold Medal. Focus, precision, technique, personal pride, and years of experience. FIVE STARS*****

I got Frenchie himself today and it was a NIGHTMARE. He started by not wetting my hair, with the clippers snagging over and over. Then he straight razored my face without any cream, leaving scratches all over both sides. THEN, he nearly buzzed off both of my eyebrows, and unevenly at that. This was all while he talked about “attracting the right kind of people to his store.” I have a feeling I may not have fit his criteria. Awful experience, awful people. I really cannot emphasize how bad it was.
