I traveled 45 minutes from Colts Neck, Tara is absolutely worth the trip! She is great to work with with – she made the process so easy, she’s very responsive to messages and super knowledgable – she recommended the color and length for extensions, and they are perfect. I’m a business owner, and work long hours – she worked with my schedule, helped me pick out my ideal color, and had everything ready for the appointment. My sister and I just went to French twist on Friday for her wedding. We had our hair done by Tiffany and make up done by Becca and honestly they did such a phenomenal job! Our hair and make up stayed all day and night long and we felt sooo beautiful! I can’t thank them enough for making us both so beautiful for my sister’s big day. They did the best job and we are so happy we went there!

First visit, very nice salon, massive number of stylists. Had a wash and blowout for a wedding. Everything was fine till it was time to pay…first they only accept cash or a check this should be mentioned at time when appointment is being made. Second, receptionist quoted $45.00 for wash and blowout then changed price to $65.00 for 2 hair pins to pin one side back. Pressed for time to make it to church, could not make an issue with manager.

Love this place! My hairdresser Angelique always does beautiful work on my hair. The color you want is always the color you get. It never is off from visit to visit. The blow outs are stunning, the trims and cuts are just what you ask for and the styles are art. I have to give compliments to all the ladies that work here cause they all do an amazing job. If my hair dresser isn’t available, the other ladies take care of me just the same. Brought my mom for the first time, she’s always picky and has had some bad experiences in the past with other places, she’s addicted to this place. Highly recommend! Book in advance if you want something special, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! I’ve been going to Renee for about 3 years or so for cut and color. Cut always on point. . . ALWAYS. Highlights and color always on point…ALWAYS. Her colleagues and assistants are friendly and pleasant- ALWAYS The owners and receptionists – friendly and pleasant- ALWAYS. Renee is now cutting my 3 year old and 6 year old’s hair and my little girls absolutely love going to the salon to be primped and pampered. All of the above and for very good and very reasonable prices!!!

I’m not a committed client do to i never have the time every few months to go and get my hair done but when i do get a chance to get my hair done the only place I go to is French twist and will ONLY let Brittany Wanca touch my hair! She’s not only my hair stylist she’s been my friend for a very long time! She’s AMAZING! She’s so dedicated ,very professional, kind , knows what she’s talking about & got a personality that will knock your socks off! I absolutely love this salon. I have been coming here for about 10 years and even though I moved to New Jersey, I still come back to Staten Island to get my hair done. My hair stylist is awesome and the staff is always friendly and polite. My only complaint is about another customer last Saturday. I was in to get my hair colored and cut. After my color was finished, my hair stylist’s next customer had not shown up. While she called to say she was running late, after 15 minutes, the decision was made to do my cut and blow out rather than to continue to make me wait. When the other customer showed up, she was extremely agitated and rude to the staff. She stormed over in the middle of my cut and blowout to yell at my hairstylist. I think customers need to understand that if they are late, they are backing the hairstylist up and that is within the hairstylist’s purview to move on to the next customer. The hairstylist’s time is valuable too. Therefore, I just want to reiterate what a wonderful job I think you all do at French Twist and thank you for many amazing years of service!
