I always come here for my haircuts, despite living in La Quinta. It’s worth the drive because these guys cut hair like there’s no tomorrow. Friendly staff (I went to high school w some of them) always joking around and talking with customers sets a nice vibe. They ask if you want your hairline lined up, squared or rounded back, shave the small hairs on the back of your neck, and can trim up your beard if you ask. I see old & young here, vatos & country club folk, gordos & twigs—if you have hair they got you with a fresh anything.

Very time wasteful, they can not figure out a system of walk-ins or appointments, despite trying both I leave frustrated on how i need to commit at least half a day to get a haircut.

Critical: ProfessionalismDue to how close this shop is to my home it was convenient. I looked over the fact barbers would show up late. Most of the barbers do cut well and I’ve always tipped them well. My schedule is very unpredictable so I to get the shop right when they open which clearly states 8am. I’ve waited in the parking lot till 830am-845am still the shop is closed. There are other customers who also wait in the parking lot. Why I continued to show up other than it being close to my home was there is one barber who is always professional and always on time. He doesnt work the weekends anymore. Due to how close this shop is to my home it was convenient. I looked over the fact barbers would show up late. Most of the barbers do cut well and I’ve always tipped them well. I showed my CDL Photo for the young barber for a example. Not a quality cut for $25. I felt like I was going to a barbering college. My hair was cut in a point not even cut short enough in the back and sticking out in the front. I wanted to be nice and leave a tip. I went back home and everyone told me my haircut was the worst and I should come back and have it changed.. old school barbers dont exist for the “Güero”. my friends could not believe I paid that much money for the haircut. now i have to grow my hair back out since this place messed it up. My friend who is a local told the barber and showed him how he messed my hair up and he did not take the criticism very well. I will never return from this experience. who wants to walk around with their hair cut into a point? I even told the guy dont cut my hair into a point. terrible. where is the manager of this business? 10 barbers in the place and no manager apologizing for the bad haircuts?
