I went for the first time yesterday and had a great experience! After a terrible experience at another nearby nail spa I wanted to try a non-toxic mail spa. The atmosphere was great. Alondra did a beautiful job on my nails and took her time to make sure they looked perfect, I love them! I will for sure be back and recommending to everyone 🙂

UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE! I have been waiting forever for there to be a non-toxic, safer nail salon in the Franklin area and so when I heard about Mylk Bar opening I was thrilled! Not only are the products top notch, the place is sparkling clean, ADORABLE and the nail technicians are so friendly! The best part is, I had a regular polish mani using the Smith & Cult polish, and no joke.. it lasted about 2 weeks without a chip. That is unheard of for regular polish! Mckenzie was my tech and she was great. I loved her personality and she made me laugh! Very relaxing experience and so thankful Mylkbar is in town!

I would like to warn anyone who is considering this nail salon to steer clear. I decided to try it out this past Saturday because the reviews were great and my regular nail salon could not accommodate my timeframe. What a mistake. The nail technician was nice and shared that she had been doing nails for about a year. The manicure was done first and I watched as she gooped on 2 coats and then top coat. The polishes she used looked old and at the end of their useful life. My nails looked a bit like jelly beans at the end because there was so much polish but I figured it would dry. Next was a gel pedicure that seemed to go ok until I got outside and realized the gel was dull and likely did not set up right before she applied lotion. I was very unhappy and sent an email to the manager. When I woke in the morning there were bedsheet marks and gouges in the nail polish because it never dried. I had my nails done at 1 pm and then went to bed at 10pm. The next day I had the nails re done at another salon as I had a work event and needed to be ready. On Monday, The manager texted me back to tell me how sorry she was but their non toxic nail polishes take longer to set up. I asked for a refund for which she refused and said she would give me a store credit of $50 to try them again. I spend well over $100 for a mani/pedi and politely asked again for a refund and was refused. As someone who rarely reviews- I just could not let this go by. I know many of us have limited time and beauty budgets. Don’t waste either at Freecoat.

Completely disappointed at how this place is run. Been coming here for over 2 years. Since the new owners took over about a year ago their customer service has declined drastically. There have been 2 instances, the first was when I called to cancel an appointment when I woke up sick. I could barely speak & with fevers. They charged me for the full service (about $50) for canceling less than 24 hours before my appointment. The second occurred when I was 3 minutes late to an appointment. The front desk lady gave me a hard time for being 3 mins late. Which was due to the horrible parking situation there. Then she proceeded to let my nail tech Jillian (who is great & the only reason I have stayed since the new owners took over & many nail techs have left) know that I arrived. I waited for 10 minutes to be helped before the front desk lady approached me to let me know that they wouldn’t have time to help me! Really?! This is ridiculous. Why make me wait for 10 mins to tell me you can’t help me after all?! My polish changed appt would have been done by that point. Most places have a 15 min window in case you’re running late. Canceling my membership & going elsewhere.

Took my friend to FreeCoat for the extra coat pedi as a gift and had a wonderful experience with Alondra! She gave amazing customer service, did an amazing job on her pedi and was super sweet. I immediately booked an appointment for myself!
