She listened to my concerns and hopes for what I wanted, talked me through what she was doing and why as she did it, and had so many helpful tips for keeping my curls looking great when styling them at home. Mindy is a genius with curly hair. I first saw her years ago when, like many curly-haired women, I had an ambivalent relationship with my curls. She gave me a fantastic cut and showed me how to apply the Curlisto products I’m still using these many years later. I had never had her color my hair, until yesterday, and it came out gorgeous. It was a million different colors from trying to cover my greys myself during the pandemic. Mindy performed her magic — it was quite the process — but the color has never looked better. The reason I gave one star is because that was the way into the comments. I am usually a tolerant, kind person however, Mindy doesn’t deserve even 1 star for this haircut. Yes, I was a few minutes late, however, she was chatting on the phone & ultimately kept me waiting. The consult promised, was rushed through. She didn’t absorb any specifics we discussed about what I wabted or how my hair behaved.
