Kristie is absolutely THE BEST! Look no further. She is a genius with color and I get so many compliments on my hair since she has been doing it. My look has completely transformed since she has been doing my hair and she stays on the cutting edge of new looks and trends (thankfully because I don’t). Free Spirit Salon is the BEST! I went here for color and a cut the week before my wedding, and it turned out to be the best service I have ever received. Morgan was the colorist, and she was amazing! She was incredibly thorough in asking questions to make sure we were both on the same page before she started on my hair. She does a killer lived in look that is exactly what I envisioned for my wedding. I will be a repeat customer and recommend Morgan and the entire Free Spirit Salon!

First, I want to say that I have a pretty severe reservations about trying out new stylist. I have moved to 2 different states in the last 3 years. So, as someone that typically takes care of herself last, it is safe to say that it has been a long time since I have received a great service(and I mean GREAT service). I have been underwhelmed and unsatisfied with the last two previous stylist that I tried before coming here to Free Spirit Salon. My experience from the moment I walked in there was impeccable. The atmosphere is clean, organized and relaxing. Sign in was a breeze and the little gift box was a nice touch. I didn’t have to wait long for Kelly to greet me. She really took her time, asked all the right questions, LISTENED to my needs ( Hallelujah!!) gave me a great service, honest advice and sent me out that door feeling like a new woman! One of my pictures you can see I was feeling fierce, ready to show my man Hands down, couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I will definitely be back!

Chelsea did such a phenomenal job. The entire salon was so welcoming! I get easily overwhelmed, but the staff was so easy to work with. Christie gave me the most beautiful hair makeover! She made various suggestions and I trusted her opinions. I was nervous at first but she promised that I would love results. Where do I begin. I posted a review took it down because the manager apologized for how the situation Was handled. In short. To which I appreciate and…. Then I never heard back from her when I called. To explain had a crazy several months where I sadly had to miss my appointment or reschedule. I was already embarrassed about no showing because I fell and I found out 6 weeks later FRACTURED my ankle. Not just sprained. I could barely walk when I was supposed to go in and was so focused on healing I completely forgot about my appointment which I felt terribly about. And before that I had to reschedule last minute because I tested positive for Covid…. But I was let go. Without any warning or even being asked to pay 50% upfront. As their website states they do if you do this. So I was prepared that this might occur. Because I’d been late and rescheduled day of 3 other times. One time not even in the same year. Which feels unfair to let it roll over. I was never asked to pay 50% upfront and warned as the website said they would do. Instead I was let go of over text and told their opinion wont change even after trying to explain my life had been a living hell. Before that my sweet cat died too. It has just been really hard. I was misdiagnosed with a sprain when I really had a break basically so no wonder why I couldn’t walk without pain let alone think straight. Zero compassion was shown for what I had been dealing with. While I understand the frustration. A little compassion goes a long way. They did invite me to come back to see another stylist which I wanted to take them up on that offer. Accept I called the manager back and was told she wasn’t available when I called to ask who would best be suited for the look I was going for. I was ghosted. Never heard from her and it’s been weeks. I don’t understand this. I’m sad because there are talented people here. They just really need to work on their communication skills. I was actually planning on leaving Chelsea a tip equivalent to what my no show cost would have been. Just as an apology on my end. And I would have been understanding of having to pay 50% upfront I get it. I’m an entrepreneur. Just you have to tell me these things. It seems wrong to let me go with zero warning of what the policy was aside from what was on the website.

I really like the experience at this salon each time I visit. It’s very relaxing and the people is very nice. I go with Chelsea and I really recommend her for color and haircut. Great salon in general.
