We are a small salon located right in Washington. Our passion is hair so it’s what we do – from fades to flat tops, long layers to pixie cut’s- haircut’s for the whole family, foils to full color! I recently moved into the area and was hoping to find a new salon to call home. It’s safe to say Free Spirit will not be it. I had my haircut by someone who appeared to have very little experience. My hair was so uneven that it needed to be fixed by a more seasoned associate and as a result, my hair was much shorter than I wanted, and still slightly uneven. My hair wasn’t even entirely dried after asking for more blow drying. Incredibly disappointed in my overall experience. At no point was I ever informed that the associate who I was working with was ‘still learning’, I would have at least expected to be asked if this was acceptable before beginning my appointment. I hope anyone else who decides to give Free Spirit a try has a more pleasant experience.

I made an appt with Candi, and I am so glad I did! She listened to what I wanted, offered professional advice, but was not dominating at all, and she gave me an amazing hair cut! I have straight hair, which is hard to cut, and she did a great job! She is also just a very kind person, with a huge heart, very empathic, and personable. I went in around 6pm and there was no one there, and classic rock was playing -my favorite- so that made it an even better experience. I had a really good time and it was a perfect end to my day. Called to check availability and wasn’t expecting to get in same day, especially a Saturday. Got an appointment with Katie for a haircut. Katie was very tentative to details and made sure she didn’t take off more than I asked for all while taking care of my dead ends. Very pleasant to speak with also during the whole process. Truly happy with my cut and style. Katie did an awesome job!!

I got my hair done over the weekend and this place honestly feels like home! The staff is super friendly and they do an incredible job. I went and got a cut and color and I’ve got nothing but compliments on how great my hair looks! The blending that was done is absolutely stunning!
