Established in 1946, Grandma Merle opened our salon after she graduated from Wenatchee Beauty College in 1936! Merle did hair till she was 80 years old and her small slice of history is still thriving today because some of her clients STILL come to our salon. The crew at Frederick’s Salon is younger and hipper these days, but our roots still run deep. We specialize in the anti-frizz treatment Brazilian Blowout. This service gives WASH N’ WEAR hair that’s semi permanent so you don’t have to say goodbye to your original curls/texture. We also specialize in beautiful balayages, buttery blondes and long lasting color with our L’anza color line.

Jamie Borror at Frederick’s Salon is Amazing!!! Been seeing Jamie for years before the salon relocated to Shoreline. The new salon location is an extremely convenient location with great parking. Jamie is creative and very talented in her work. I have done cut, all over color, highlights, balayage…. even eyelashes. I always love the way I look when leaving. The salon atmosphere is relaxing and friendly, they carry great products and are a Green Circle Salon. Highly recommend.

Met with Eduardo for the first time. I have short hair (meaning a grown out home-covid cut curly, fine hair pixie). He fixed it to an age appropriate, sassy, cut that I am excited about! I’m heading to a presentation shortly, so he definitely took extra time making sure this ‘do wouldn’t become a don’t. . Not sure I’m able restyle it like this again. I love that he’s Colombian! My hair isn’t exactly traditional Latin/Hispanic, though the curls are. Next time, I’m going to have my daughter see him. Her hair is very traditional! Looking forward to coming back.

Hard to write this review because the staff are so cool and nice, and great atmosphere. This is just my own personal experience. I’m actually upset and frustrated when I look in the mirror or brush my hair right now, having spent a ton of money for what I thought was going to be something bold, pretty and different. Instead, my hair looks actually more plain and dull then before I came into Frederick’s, and several friends have commented on that – literally saying they see no difference, and what happened to my “long, pretty hair” from before.

My stylist was awesome, personable, and very thorough with my haircut which I truly appreciated. I shared with her my negative experiences with previous hairstylists and she made sure that she did the job well, which she did awesome!! I’m very happy with my haircut and it was well worth the $ spent!!! 10/10 recommend!

Leah has been my hair stylist since I was 17-18 years of age. Im going on 36!!! She has always always delivered. The stylists there are so sweet and down to earth! You can just feel the vibe within the whole salon. Not to mention… They all pretty much kick a** ❤ such a great team of stylists

I had found Fredrick’s years ago when I lived in Greenwood and recently discovered that they were now located in Shoreline which was much closer to my house. The new salon is nice, open space and very easy to park and access. Jamie is a really amazing hair stylist. She listens to what you want, makes great recommendations and I left her chair feeling really great about my cut and beautiful. Top it off she is super personable, funny and makes a hair cut fly by with good conversation. If you are looking for an exceptional salon look no further this is your place.

She charged for thongs afterwards that we never discussed and also lied about prices that we had already discussed. She gave my wedding planner an inflated total at the end, and my planner was not aware of the specifics so Crystal ended up with $200 more than she should have. I should have taken her to court. Avoid her salon like the plague. You can always find someone to do a good job on your hair.
