i just got a hair cut here and the one barber Chuck completely messed up my hair. I told him to take an inch off of the back and he took it all off. I had maybe 5-6 inches of hair and now i have around 1. Not to mention it it very uneven. I couldn’t be more displeased with a hair cut.

After close to 25 years at another barber shop (for which I left a very poor review last haircut), I tried Frank’s Place. This shop is what Sam’s Barber Shop used to be when Sam ran it. My experience here was the polar opposite of my last experience at Sam’s. I was taken in the order of arrival, the staff was busy but handled the work load with grace and efficiency. The barber was polite and friendly, and did not assume that my tip was included in the cash I handed him, unlike my previous barber at Sam’s. The shop is clean and bright. The only negatives are the spare waiting area, and the tight parking, which is just the way it is in that strip on York road. Find Frank’s right next to Maria’s pizza and across the street from Smyth Jeweler’s. I will return. They have earned my business.

He had cut my hair more than 20 years ago and I was pleased to find him just as friendly and competent as back then.
