Very painful massage with high pressure. Asked many times to give low pressure and now having sore back. Be careful there is hidden price in the name of tip. Lulu asked for 15 dollar so I gave 25% tip, because cant argue.

I went for a massage here. It was a very firm massage and I was sore for a couple of days. Although, there are some people looking for that in a massage, it’s not what I enjoy. I did ask the masseuse to lighten up a couple of times, but she was trying to do a therapeutic massage that would benefit me as per her experience.

I cant complain, this place is relaxing. Yes, some of the stuff are deteriorating, like the couches, but honestly, you are still able to relax greatly. They have multiple heating rooms, tons of places to relax, cafetería is delicious, and the water baths are great. You need to either bring a friend or a book. They used to have yoga classes, I hope they bring that back someday. The facials and massages are great, and I love how they always ask you if everything is good.

Critical: ProfessionalismForced to pay the Tip $$Omg! It’s America not any other country where you trying to be a fraud. The girl on the reception she literally forced/founght with me to pay minimum of 20% tip of my bill. She literally told me that we provide deep tissue massage other SPA’s have silly American massage’s not that effective. She even told me I have stored your name in my phone next time no will attend you and you shouldn’t come to the spa. I read reviews about forced tip. I was surprised myself. I suffer from chronic arthritis in my right hip with occasional lower back pain. I explain my condition to the staff and exactly where the pain is and let, Lulu, Linda and Angela work their magic. I usually put these lady through a 2 hour hard massage session and they never disappoint me. These ladies are professional, courteous and kind. I have been going to the Franklin Spa for several years and never had a mediocre massage. I suffer from chronic arthritis in my right hip with occasional lower back pain. I explain my condition to the staff and exactly where the pain is and let, Lulu, Linda and Angela work their magic. I suffer from chronic lower back pain and sciatica and nerve damage and every time I go, Lulu or Angela always step up to the plate and deliver what I need. They are both kind, friendly, courteous, professional and most importantly, they listen to your needs.Also, they keep that place extremely clean, wear masks and follow the CDC guidelines to the letter, and have their professional credentials up on their walls. This was my first time at Franklin Spa. It was easy to set up the appointment. The place was neat and clean. I really enjoyed the massage and felt very relaxed. The hot stones was rather too good. They also use a hot towel to wipe away the oil after they massage.
