I moved into town about six months ago and was looking for a good barber. It’s so much more stressful than you first think when you are trying to replace the person who you have been going to for so many years. After trying out a few places locally, I made an appointment with Michael. And I am so glad I did! The other places I tried were decent – no complaints – but Michael is on another level. He is incredibly talented and skilled, and he is great to talk to as well. If you are looking for an exceptional barber, this is your place.

Yes his prices are a bit higher than some of the competitors in the area, but the quality of the cut and overall service is just so much higher. In my opinion, the value for your dollar is fantastic. Hands down, Frank E’s Barbershop is one of the best places to have your hair cut. Michael Mejia is truly an expert at his craft and it’s hard to miss when you step into his barbershop. From the tastefully decorated interior to the carefully selected tunes playing in the background, you’ll quickly realize that you’re in not just for a haircut, but a one-of-a-kind experience. Once you’ve taken a seat, Michael won’t let you leave until you look and feel like a million bucks which is great since he has a penchant for knowing exactly what your hairstyling needs are. Michael is also a great conversationalist and he gets to know you on a personal level, so the experience feels even less like visiting the barber and more like seeing an old friend. I’ve been a loyal customer of Michael for years now and it’s hard to think of another place that I would recommend if you’re looking for a gentleman barber experience. Personally, I’ve received plenty of compliments on my hairstyle in the days and weeks after a visit and I owe it all to Michael whom I can’t thank enough. This was my first haircut with Michael and I loved every part of it. Before, I had gone to other barbers and they had cut the hair, but they didn’t really explain and it didn’t feel super personalized. But when I walked into the shop everything changed. The old school vibe and Michael just being friendly made it a really cool experience. Michael actually taught me how my hair works and how to style it well. I definitely found my barber. For anyone who needs a good barber, Michael is hands down the best I’ve ever met.
