Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI have been a longtime customer in this salon. I landed in Cambridge in 2017 and have since been a regular. Ashley is great with long as well as short hair styles. However, I am sad to say that, the owner Franco has a weird attitude problem and is extremely unprofessional. My husband had an online glitch ( he got booked in two back to back slots) with their appointment system and his haircut was denied by Franco. Well, glitches happen, but his misbehaviour and complete denial of the glitch was not acceptable. He made us feel as if it was our fault and completely denied services even though my husband showed up on time for his designated time slot. He was made to wait for more than 15 minutes before Franco showed up in person and denied his services.The handling of the glitch, coupled with rude behaviour was unprofessional and made me think about an alternative Salon option (which are many in and around this area). This place should get one star for the rude unprofessional customer service, but I will give two stars only for Ashley’s service for the last three years. I have been a longtime customer in this salon. I landed in Cambridge in 2017 and have since been a regular. Ashley is great with long as well as short hair styles. However, I am sad to say that, the owner Franco has a weird attitude problem and is extremely unprofessional. I was very clear that I was trying to grow my hair out, and that I only wanted her to skim the edges (a term that every stylist should be familiar with). She ended up taking half an inch off, and ended the haircut by saying she took off more than I wanted. As in she knew she wasn’t following my instructions and didn’t bother consulting me on that. To top things off, she wasn’t even friendly during the cut.I honestly don’t know how you stay in business when you refuse to follow very simple and clear directions. I don’t even understand how you get hired with that kind of attitude. I went in for a maintenance haircut. I was very clear that I was trying to grow my hair out, and that I only wanted her to skim the edges (a term that every stylist should be familiar with). She ended up taking half an inch off, and ended the haircut by saying she took off more than I wanted. As in she knew she wasn’t following my instructions and didn’t bother consulting me on that.
