I had the honor to receive a haircut from Schylia and it was a wonderful experience! I gave them a brief consultation and prompt of what I wanted and they pulled it off beyond my expectations– both with quality of service, and efficiency in terms of how fast they finished my cut (it took just around 40 minutes!) I get anxiety going to hairdressers and the associated small talk, but I felt so comfortable in Schylia’s care. I wholly recommend them to anyone who has my similar problems, or who might just be queer! It always makes me so happy to see my fellow kin in professional settings able to be out and proud, especially with an establishment that supports them. I’ll be back for sure when I need a trim 🙂

Awesome salon! So light and bright and airy inside. A very relaxing environment. Mckenzie is the greatest! She’s done my hair for many years and I’m always more than pleased with the results. I have very thick/coarse/wavy hair and she knows just the way to cut and style it to tame it and make it look it’s best!

This is a fantastic salon in a great Manette location. My husband and daughter followed McKenzie from another salon, and persuaded me to start getting my hair styled by her as well (a great decision!). The entire staff at Fox Hollow is talented, friendly and passionate about providing excellent service. You cannot go wrong with McKenzie or Lydia! And, they will soon have a third stylist, who is also amazing.

I went to McKenzie for my hair needs until I decided enough was enough. She gossips about other people nonstop which is unprofessional. She never asked what I wanted my hair to look like because she teaches classes and thinks she knows it all. Whenever I spoke up to tell her, it hardly seemed like she listened. My hair highlights were mediocre at best!
