I went to Andrea with no idea what I needed- I was feeling drab and frustrated and sad, missing my former stylist. She talked to me for a long time- about my hair, yes-but also about my lifestyle, goals and likes/dislikes. She asked lots of questions to get an idea of who I am and what would work best for me before suggesting a plan. She gave me her full attention before, during and after my transformation. I left feeling and looking like a movie star- and like I’ve known Andrea my whole life : )

Jan carefully washed my hair, gave a fabulous scalp massage, and cut/styled my hair perfectly. I gave her minimal instructions and no photo for reference, simply said “I want my ear cut out to showcase my earrings and angled on the other side, keeping the length.” I got EXACTLY what I wanted. Jan was a pleasure to work with and has such an eye for detail, meticulously brushed and cutting my hair to ensure it lays just right.*****Only “downside” was they don’t accept tips on cards SO BRING CASH for tips!!! I even checked the website before coming and must have missed that detail. There wasn’t an atm nearby and although I was embarrassed, she was SO kind about it. Love, love, love this salon! Andrea is a wonderful stylist who does an amazing job on my hair each and every time I visit. She’s very hard-working, conscientious, and kind, always giving 100% to her clients. She truly cares about each and every one of us, and it shows. I moved here from Dallas two years ago, leaving behind a stylist I’d had for almost 14 years, thinking I wouldn’t be able to find a new one I liked. And I didn’t … for a while. I tried several salons throughout the Pittsburgh area, and left each one after only a visit or two, dissatisfied with the salons’ services and overall culture. Then, I found Fox Chapel Hair Salon, Andrea, and her wonderful team of stylists. I’ve been there ever since and haven’t looked back. Along with providing great haircare, this salon has a wonderful culture where everyone feels like and is treated like a dear friend. It’s very special, and lacks the unprofessionalism I’ve experienced at other salons over the years, and I’ve tried more than a few! A true gem!
