Critical: Quality, ValueFirst time getting my hair done here. I asked for a style that morphed into something else. I asked for large parts that turned out to be small and when I mentioned it to the women that twisted my hair, they mentioned that they made my parts medium-sized. Because one side of my hair was almost done, I just went with it. However, I expected a completely different outcome.I feel like they did not listen to me even after I showed the picture of the style I wanted to several of the braiders there. They knew they were giving me different sized parts yet did not communicate that to me. I was also there for 6 hours which certainly was not anticipated considering the style that I thought I would receive which should’ve been only about 40 twists, which at max should take only two hours. I also asked several times for them to make my twists less tight so as to not irritate my scalp. I asked, and asked and asked again…let’s just say I continued asking. Once my hair was twisted, I informed the women that I understood that some of my natural hair was outside of the twists, that I did not want to lose my hair and not to cut it. She informed me that she would not cut my hair but would cut only the fake hair. Well, that was not the truth. When I went home and went through my twists I realized that the natural hair that was sticking outside of my twists was indeed cut. I would have been fine with having left out strands, however she was not honest.The bottom line is that they did not listen to me at all, especially considering the amount of money that I paid for the service.I will be going elsewhere next time. First time getting my hair done here. I asked for a style that morphed into something else. I asked for large parts that turned out to be small and when I mentioned it to the women that twisted my hair, they mentioned that they made my parts medium-sized. Critical: QualityHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE…. walked into the shop at 11am … waited forever for my braider to start my hair…. I asked for MEDIUM knotless….she gave me small… she takes a break to go eat egg rolls & comes back touching all over my head …. THEN, she stops halfway through the braids . At one point, she even burped on my head…… it took soooo long that my mom had to help braid the ends because at this point it was almost 10pm….. then, when I was done she swooped my edges with her fingersss, the same fingers that she was eating egg rolls and olives with…. The person that did my hair braided it to big and when I told her she’s doing them to big, she insisted they weren’t and even had one of her coworker chimed in saying it wasn’t. The sad thing about it is that the coworker didn’t even see the photo of how the style was. Anyways my hair came out nothing like what I asked for and she had one person started trimming the hair as she finished up braiding the other side and never trimmed her side once she was done. She put no mouse to help make it look neat and didn’t do anything to my ends of my hair. Therefore they where uneven. The person that did my hair braided it to big and when I told her she’s doing them to big, she insisted they weren’t and even had one of her coworker chimed in saying it wasn’t.
