In general I only ever used the PX barber as a last resort. The quality of service has always been very hit or miss, usually leaning towards the miss side. However, Michelle has changed all that from this specific location. She’s friendly, and more importantly excellent at her job. I have now made the PX and Michelle the only place I go for my haircut. I’ve been getting a hair cut here for the past 3 years and it wasn’t until about 3 weeks ago that I’ve received the best hair cuts yet! Michelle does an absolute amazing job and I enjoy coming every week for my routine cut. If you’re coming to check out the barber shop here on Fort Jackson, I’d look for Michelle to do your cut. Out all of the PX barbers I’ve been to this one is at least the most consistent. There are a bunch of people I’ve never seen before this time though. Idk if all the regulars had the day off or what. This place knows what “skin” means and doesn’t try to cheat you with a triple 0 peach fuzz.

The barber shop at FT Jackson did very well and did not rush to failure. I’ve had 2 great experiences with 2 different barbers here so far, who cut it right the first time, both times. There was a third barber that people stood in a separate line for because of how well she cut hair. I’m excited for the next visit.
