I called prior to taking my son to get his hair cut and they advised me that they would be able to cut his hair and that there was no wait. My son walks in and asked how long before they would be done they wouldn’t answer. We waited for 10-15 mins for the guy to tell him he’s next. My son tells him he wants a shape up and cut down and he said he didn’t know how to do that. I feel as though they just didn’t want to cut his hair because we are black however his primary barber is white so I was fine with him going here. I will not return as I do not feel they want to service blacks and they were not friendly at all. I’m big on customer service and theirs was HORRIBLE

We take my son (6 years old) to get his haircut here, Joey does a great job every single time! If you are looking for a good barber for your son, go here!! No one has been able to fade his hair until I started taking him here. I definitely wouldn’t take him anywhere else! Great place!

Walked in very respectful only to be looked at like scum (even greeted the open barber with a gentleman’s handshake to which he was very stand offish) isn’t this a business? That’s not even the best part.. so I asked for a “Shape up” which is a common term in the barber industry. Now I can tell the energy is shifting for the worse. Very rudely he says “what’s a shape up” so I kindly explain that it’s just a clean up of the hairline with a straight edge razor. When I tell you you would have thought I asked this guy for custom designs and the key to his house at this point he looks disgusted he says “we don’t do that” so I say ok that’s fine thanks and get out of the chair he then states “you should probably go to a BLACCCKKK barber” in the most ignorant way possible. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Mind you I’m Hispanic. So when I googled Hispanic barber shop it brought me to this trash can. I didn’t know only BLACK barber shops use straight edge razors…you learn something new everyday. Unbelievable and just down right pathetic. Its 2018! I did tho end up taking this disgrace of a barbers advice and went to diamond cutz right down the street which looked to be a predominantly “black” barbershop. And guess what? Nothing but positive fun energy in the air and respect! If you support ignorance go to Forest Hills Barbershop and I feel sorry that there are still people in this world that have such simple minds.
