Had a 5 minute appointment with a doctore to look at a skin issue. They told me nothing to worry about to I checked out. I am uninsured and told them I would be paying cash that day for the total. Asked what the total is and paid and walked on out happy with my appointment. A month later I get another bill from them for additional owed. I called stating I paid in full at the time of leaving that day. They told me I had a outstanding balance and they never know the total at the time of check out. I had no other additional such as prescription or testing done. Prime example of what is wrong with the medical fields with billing. How could you not know the total after being there for 5 minutes seeing a doctor. Making up whatever price they want.

Waited 3 months to have allergic reaction to the sun evaluated. Was on the waiting list but no one canceled an appt in 3 months? Receptionist was very warm and helpful. Intake assistant presented as bothered to have to work and the PA was thorough but very rigid. After all this I was told I could check with my insurance company to see what they cover, yet the office new my insurance since I made the copay. While 3 other staff members stood around gossiping. Not impressed with the lack patient support

I switched to Forefront Dermatology from a another dermatologist in Muskegon, that I had multiple negative experiences at. I had a very early appointment here (which I love that I didn’t need to miss work) and the staff were all very kind, upbeat and friendly. I cannot say how thankful I am to have switched to this office! Excellent customer service!
