Great spot! Just moved into town and nervous about finding someone who does well with fine, straight hair after using my old barber for over 15 years. Haircut was perfect and stylist amazing! I asked for a fade, with a scissor cut on the top. She asked how much I want off the top and I told her a little. She then proceeds to buzz off large amounts of hair on the top of my head. When she was using the scissors, she didn’t even bother to wet my hair and she was doing it so fast I don’t even think she could see what she was doing. One of the worst haircuts I ever had. I don’t know if they just can’t follow directions or don’t know how to cut curly hair. Regardless, I had a hard time not walking out halfway through the haircut. I was literally gritting my teeth through the entire haircut. Now I have to grow all my hair back.

I went in today to get a mullet my hair was very long and growing in to have a long mullet I told her I wanted a mullet. I told her I didn’t want to top very long and I didn’t want it to be able to be combed over and that I want it so I didn’t have to comb it and I didn’t want my long hair in the back touched at all because I’ve been growing it out for a year and a half she gave me a comb over and she cut 75% of the hair that I told her not to touch off worst $40 I’ve ever spent I put the pictures down for reference of what it looked like before the cut and after

I had a set appointment today and I walked in a few minutes late (couldn’t find parking downtown). The lady told me they only wait 7 minutes before putting you down as a no show. I walked in 5 minutes late and told me I would have to reschedule (so much for the 7 min window). Needless to say I will be getting a hair cut elsewhere. Haircut

In the menu case, they included that neck trimming is free. I came in with this information and told them I’m here for a neck trim. The lady by the register said, “the free neck trim.” I affirmed. She said that is okay; please wait until someone is free.

Lamar gives an awesome haircut. The other stylists do too I assume but I only use Lamar and he’s great. Other than that the place is nice and clean. The haircut is fairly priced. Definitely recommend for Penn State students and people in the area
