My daughter and I visited here unexpectedly last Thanksgiving week when another similar business nearby messed up our reservation and couldn’t accommodate us. Foot joy was able to graciously accommodate us for our mother/daughter foot massage we were so looking forward to. We found their therapists to be very skilled and we appreciated them focusing primarily on our feet which was our specific request. Their therapists seemed skilled and trained in the art of massage and reflexology which I can’t say for their nearby competitor which we recently went to because Foot Joy was closed due to vacation. In the future I can’t wait to return to Foot Joy for a wonderful foot massage experience anytime we are in town on vacation. If I lived here I would go at least twice a month!

Oh wow, I just had such an upsetting experience. I am kicking myself for not reading the reviews beforehand. We don’t live in the area and decided to get foot massages. What was great was they were actually able to get us in right away. The massage was decent, not great but not bad. I do think it all depends on the Practitioner you got.

I’ve been coming here for the last two years, and the massages are good, not great but good. 4 stars. They recently raised their Prices so they are very expensive now, for just a basic foot rub, 3 stars. I always tip $10, but as others mentioned tips are ALWAYS optional for good service, if it’s mandatory just raise your dam prices. 1 star

Positive: Professionalism, QualityGreat foot massages, very friendly staff and clean. We typically give a 20% tip which I believe is standard in our country . I can’t believe people were having issues with tipping and not even giving $10! I would ask for more too! Their prices are half what you’d pay elsewhere- I can’t believe people are that cheap. I would strongly encourage people to go here.Great foot massages, very friendly staff and clean. We typically give a 20% tip which I believe is standard in our country . I have been visiting Rancho from San Francisco for over 10 years, but only discovered Foot Joy 3 years ago…this place is the best! It’s quiet and the staff is friendly…they work hard to provide a relaxing experience. As the most recent reviewer said, this is an excellent massage for the price ($175 is average in SF!), and I’m happy to fork over $10+ for tip. I don’t know where the negative tip-related reviewers are from, but it’s customary GLOBALLY to tip for any type of service – meaning hair cuts/color, mani/pedis, facials, MASSAGES, etc. I’d visit Foot Joy weekly if I could…it’s a hidden gem.

Usually for a foot massage you would have a water soak first and actually get to the pressure points on the feet. This was a gentle foot rub and back rub for the combo from the women who demands more tips.

5 Stat for the massage but 1 star because of the sour taste (figuratively) they left us with. My husband and I decided to go there after dinner as a treat for us. Massage was excellent and they are great at making sure you are comfortable. However when it came time to pay, I pulled out cash for a tip and the lady asked for more money for the tip. She actually held up a ten dollar bill and said “no more?”. Needless to say I wasn’t pleased with that. Then she proceeded to ask again and the whisper to her colleague in her native language while pointing her eyes at us. It’s unfortunate I have to leave a bad review but costumer service is so important.

This was a fabulous massage, well worth the reasonable price and the $10 TIP!! I read reviews in which former clients chastised the manager for expecting a good tip for the therapist. One wrote she pulled back the tip. REALLY!!!! How cheap can you be to get a &45 hour long massage and not tip at least $10???!!! If you can’t afford a $10 tip, you can’t afford the massage. SHAME ON YOU CHEAPSKATES!! These therapists work very hard and to tip less than $10 is disrespectful.

As seasonal residents, my husband and I have been coming to Foot Joy for over five years. They are ALWAYS professional and give a great massage. I highly recommend the place. We have experienced the 60 minute and 90 minute massage; all of which are wonderful (see the website or call them for more details). The place is quiet, clean and all of the staff are welcoming.

Critical: ProfessionalismHorrible. lady at the front desk demanded a tip, when I told her it’s not appropriate to demand a tip, she started arguing and yelling at me. Definitely worth a call to Rancho Mirage and the licensing board
