Fluid Salon is your local full-service salon located in East Lansing, Michigan. We offer a variety of salon services including: haircut and color, hair styling, microblading, lash extensions, professional makeup application, bridal hair and makeup, manicures and pedicures, waxing, and massage services. Our salon professionals are highly talented and skilled. We keep up with current trends by continually learning new styles and skills. If you are looking for a unique hair color or style, we can do it. If you are looking for skilled microblading for your brows, we can do it. We can do it all! We are open Monday – Friday from 9am-8pm and Saturday from 9am-5pm. We are located at 2755 E. Grand River Ave., Ste. B, in East Lansing, Michigan.

Was able to call and book 6 days out for a Saturday morning appointment. Salon was easy to get to, Google maps took me to the wrong location but I got a text with the new address before the appointment so I was prepared. Salon was clean and had a comfy atmosphere.

Victoria, Kadie, and Alaina did hair and makeup for my wedding. They were amazing during the planning process, answering all my questions. They gave us a schedule for the morning ahead of time which was super helpful! The hotel room ended up being much smaller than anticipated but they were great and worked so well with us despite the cramped space.

Am new to the area trying to find a new spot for all my beauty needs. Had my first appointment cancelled a few hours before my appointment, which was inconvenient, but I understood. Had to make another appointment and I had the worst haircut and total experience. The person cutting my hair said maybe 10 words to me even when I was asking about other services that I was looking to get. She didn’t spend any time talking to me about the cut and I think that is why I ended up with the bowl cut I have now. I felt like I was being rushed, she didn’t even show me the back before she brushed me off and took my cape off. This may have been an off day for the salon, but it resulted in a disaster on my head. This is definitely not a place I would try again for haircut and probably not any other services

I booked Fluid Salon for hair & makeup services on site at my wedding venue. Their website had pictures of hairstyles that were similar to what I was looking for, they had great reviews, and were nearby my venue and would travel. I had my bridal hair & makeup trial done at the salon. My girl Victoria was awesome. She helped me decide on what I envisioned for my wedding and guided me on what hairstyle would work best for my hair type. I showed inspiration pics from pinterest and she delivered. I really wanted my hair down for my wedding and for my trial we tried it down to see how long the curls lasted. She called it. My hair lasted maybe 3 hours. So on my actual wedding day I was confident I needed it pinned up better to hold and last all night and trusted her style choice. She did an amazing job and my hair lasted all day and night. I got so many compliments! She did my airbrush makeup as well. It was definitely the way to go. I felt so beautiful and it felt light and lasted all day long. So now on to the entire team. Communication with the salon was phenomenal. The timeline for hair & makeup that was put together was so organized and beautiful. The day of the team came right on time and started right away. Hair & makeup went without a hitch and we ended about an hour earlier than expected. This gave us time for some snacks and to enjoy the morning. My entire bridal party of 7 girls, plus myself and 2 moms all looked gorgeous thanks to Fluid Salon! Highly recommend them as your hair & makeup dream team if your wedding is near Lansing/Mid Michigan!!

I had been to a few salons since 2020 and everyone kept making it worse. 2 weeks after my last bad cut I thought “why not” and I tried fluid. I feel wonderful now. I have curly hair and she cut it to where it is easily manageable and still looks great. The super bonus is that my hair color no longer is dull and lifeless.
