Presently there is one full-time barber. He is cutting hair on Tuesday thru Saturday from 9 am till 5 pm. He is the best! I leave the shop around 3:00 pm but our barber is there till 5 pm. Call 336-755-8637 if you need more information. Walk-ins only!

When we was on Main Street in Mt Airy (Mayberry) I had the opportunity to get my hair cut at Floyd’s Barber Shop and in the same chair Andy used to sit in. As someone that grew up watching Andy Griffith this is one of those bucket list things I can check off. What an awesome experience. You should definitely step in if on Main Street in Mt. AIRY. there are so many pictures, including historic photos of men that played the part of Floyd the barber. It is set up just like the barber shop from the Andy Griffith show. You can even get a haircut. Tourists are welcome!

Cute Awesome town to visit! Don’t miss this stop wile driving through Mount Airy or the surrounding area. Make the trip to take a drive to Mayberry. It is a tourist place expect the streets to be crowded during the summer months.
