Amazing service and cee cee is not only a wonderful stylist but just a great all around person. Highly recommend..I went in with the full intention of just shaving my hair off.. getting older hair is thinning I just gave up..cee cee could tell I didn’t want to cut it and she was right.. she said she was going to try something and I gave her free reign.. and I’m so incredibly glad I did. I never would have thought to put my hair up in a braid but it fully addressed my total panic and anxiety of losing my hair. Went here when I first moved to the area. Haircut and beard trim were good but extremely expensive. I decided to go again the next month for just haircut. Tried to do a walk-in but they were booked and was scheduled for the next day. Perfectly fine and was even given a coupon. I received a phone call the next day that the barber had called out and that I’d need to reschedule. This happened 3 more times before I decided to go somewhere else. They did put a free haircut on my account to apologize, but I’m not sure when I’ll be back to use it. The service is good if you can get an appointment and not have it cancelled.

Incredibly disappointed from my experience today at Floyd’s 99 Barbershop. I scheduled an appointment for a beard trim which is usually $15 but when it was time to pay they charged me $44 for the service without having consulted me. I also was a cut a little on my right cheek. I have been here quite a few times but was very unimpressed this last time.

Twice in the past 6 years I have come to this salon when trying to get a simple shape/line-up during the awkward stage of growing my hair out. Uncannily, both times the hairdressers did not listen and proceeded to cut months of growth w/out once checking in to verify the desired look/cut. This salon is a joke and I assume the only reason it is still in business is because dads bring their kids. Nobody wants to get free haircuts because the hairdresser messed up. Free doesn’t grow hair back.

So I called the Floyd’s barbershop in Belmont Circle in Ashburn Virginia today to see if they could squeeze me in for a haircut on a Saturday. I knew it was a longshot if you don’t have a pre-scheduled haircut. But I called in hopes that somebody would’ve canceled. And sure enough they said they had an opening at 3 PM and took my phone number and information and confirmed the appointment. Well I get there at 3 PM and they said more or less who are you? I said I’m the one who you added on and to the 3 o’clock slot like you told me. They said oh we don’t know anything about that. I said well why did you confirm you had a 3 PM slot and confirm my name and everything and now you’re telling me there’s no haircut appointment for you. I cannot verify the quality of haircut as it has been a long time since I’ve been at this Floyd’s. Azaro used to work here and he was very good but left for Los Angeles. A nice woman Jane cut my sons hair technically yesterday on Friday and did a good job and apparently cuts hair for the entire Riverside lacrosse team. So I don’t want to say the haircuts are bad but I do want to say the scheduling was very pathetic and disappointing. Please don’t tell someone you have an opening and make them wait all day and then you tell them there’s no haircut appointment for you when they arrive. It is simply disrespectful to the customer. In case there is any question about which Floyd’s I called, they stated Belmont Circle when I called.

Jenn washed and trimmed 3″ off my long hair and trimmed my fringe. She also thinned it out without losing any length at all. She was personable and genuinely friendly. She did recommend that I call the next time I make a reservation to request an extra half hour due to the length and thickness of my hair, it wasn’t an option on the website, and, even though my cut went long, she stayed just as pleasant. The whole experience was just stress free.
