Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityThey can be so disrespectful with your hair, like it’s not attached to your scalp. They can be nice, but have bad attitudes when there’s a misunderstanding. I came here early one day because I needed my hair done before a certain time and they didn’t open the door until past 9 and there was only one braider here until 10:15. I was seated at 11. Reminder that the business is supposed to open at 8. Another time, the woman doing my hair took an absurd amount of time because she took many breaks to talk on the phone. If you say your hair is too tight, they tell you “it’s not tight” and move on. They were overcharged me once before they realized that I was related to someone the owner liked. Mind you, this place is far from cheap. They can be so disrespectful with your hair, like it’s not attached to your scalp. They can be nice, but have bad attitudes when there’s a misunderstanding. I came here early one day because I needed my hair done before a certain time and they didn’t open the door until past 9 and there was only one braider here until 10:15. I was seated at 11. I can’t believe in this time we’re living in, where people of color should be sticking together this is the type of treatment we are getting from our own kind. My wife was verbally disrespected at this salon by the owner! My daughter waited 4 hours for her hair to get done just for the owner to walk in and decided that the lady should not do my daughters hair! I can’t believe in this time we’re living in, where people of color should be sticking together this is the type of treatment we are getting from our own kind. Please save yourself the extreme disappointment and go to one of the respectful salons right up the street. Trust me, no matter the age you will be treated as a priority!

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueWowwww if I could give zero stars I would. My heart is extremely distressed from the type of treatment I received from the owner! I arrived at 12pm, there were 3 stylists there. Each stylist had their own clientele, the sweet woman responsible for my daughters hair had someone in the chair that she just started, she explained to me that my daughter would have to wait until she’s done with the client in the chair before she gets to my daughters hair. We agreed on the price, and everything was going well, the stylist was so nice and respectful which is why I felt comfortable with my daughter waiting for her. 4 hours later my daughter text me and tells me the owner walked in and is demanding more money for the hairstyle! At this point I’m extremely confused! How can two stylist tell me one price and we agree to it, then the owner comes in and tries too demand more! After a few minutes my daughter texts me never mind she said the original price is okay. 20 minutes later my daughter text me AGAIN and says mommy you have to pick me up, at that point I’m just like okay what the heck is it now! The owner tells me that one of her other stylists had an emergency to pick up her child so she can no longer do my daughters hair! When I get there I see the sweet lady who is supposed to do my daughters hair finishing up the client that my daughter was waiting on, so I asked her what’s the issue, you told me you would do my daughters hair after this client that you’re doing? The poor lady couldn’t even speak she just pointed to the owner and that’s when I realized the type of narcissistic tyrant that is running this place! I explained to the owner this Lady has already agreed to take my daughter next! What’s the problem? The owner replies, my other stylist had an emergency so I’m short staffed. I tell her I understand, but that wasn’t the stylist that was responsible for my daughters hair, the stylist my daughter is waiting on is right here and she already agreed to take my daughter next! Her only response was don’t stress me I’m already stressed, no sorry for the inconvenience NOTHING, so I explain to her my daughter is going to school tomorrow if you’re stressed imagine my stress! She had no care or no remorse! As I left the shop I told her I would be posting a negative review! She followed me out to my car and told me to GO TO HELL! I replied to her thank you God bless you and your entire family!Anyone who follows me knows I don’t not like to post negative reviews on businesses, but this owners actions were beyond repulsive! I’m still in shock that I was cursed out for being upset about how she inconvenienced me! Critical: Professionalism, QualityThis place is horrible I don’t even know why I wasted my time once again.. this time was the last straw for me … the person who braided my hair was Emma Emmy whatever her name is… she was very rude I did not like her attitude and the way she treated my hair at all!!! Just because my hair was a little thin she tried to tell me oh my hair is the same texture as hers and it breaks etc etc that’s not even a reason why u should be rough my with hair I mean she would part ur hair but not even comb the hair thoroughly so that way it’s easier to braid she used no gel grease or anything when parting… let’s get into the staff they talk wayyyy more than they work… I had 2 ppl than 3 ppl in my head at the end I didn’t care because I was ready to leave that place I noticed one lady short and heavy set lady eating chips while doing my hair like are u kidding me? U couldn’t eat before touching my hair very unprofessional!! This place is not professional at all they feel like u owe them something if u want to keep customers treat them with respect if u want to get paid … I will never spend my money here $250 for some middle part braids and the whole experience was horrible Emmy also put thread in my hair when finished to keep the braids close together why did the string come out literally all the thread in 3days she didn’t secure the thread on anything or tie a knot at the end smh!! This place is horrible I don’t even know why I wasted my time once again.. this time was the last straw for me … the person who braided my hair was Emma Emmy whatever her name is… she was very rude I did not like her attitude and the way she treated my hair at all!!! There are no set prices, they make you call Flokay to get a price. You ask how much something is and they don’t have a price.
