Booked 2 appointments June 26th to float on June 28th (or so I thought, I take full responsibility) for my girlfriend and I. If you know us you know that things like this are like tools to us, to aid in managing our mental health. My girlfriend had never floated and I had once before at spa oasis in Fairmont WV. We were both very excited. To double check our appointment time my girlfriend called float effects to confirm and on doing so found out that I had booked it for the 27th and had already missed the appointment. (there’s my mistake) but when she called she was greeted with a rude attitude and when she asked whomever it was she was speaking with if there was anything that could be done about my mistake. (Not once was a refund mentioned by my girlfriend or myself.). We even asked if a discount could be applied to our next float and we’re told that there was nothing that could be done. I was bummed but fully prepared to purchase 2 more floats if the gentleman answering the phone could ease the impact of my mistake on my wallet and work collaboratively so we could cover costs and still access our tools. The gentleman continued with an attitude, defending that they need to pay staff. Again we completely understand, we never asked for a refund.

If you’ve never tried floating, do yourself a favor and do it. It is a total escape from reality for an hour. You feel 100% weightless and stress free. I enjoyed it so much I opted for the monthly membership.
