I’m not one to write a review but I so unhappy I have to. I had went to Flirt spa last year to do my nails (Russian gel manicure) which I didn’t have any complaints, but a different lady did my nails this time. I went in with long nails and left with short stubs, so bad I don’t even want to post a photo. They also did my god daughters nails which are just as bad. I hate complaining but I did tell my nail tech please not too short and with Russian manicures your cuticles are smooth but that’s not what I got, . Not to mention the other nail tech cut my god daughter. Totally regret giving it another chance. For the money we went it was definitely not worth it.

I’ve gone in here for a few treatments (massage, nails, facials). I’ve witnessed the owner yelling at customers over the phone and give a total attitude to clients. Not to mention when I was in there for a manicure, a brow technician pulled me aside (unsolicited) and tried to fix my eyebrows. I declined and did not follow up for a brow appointment. Got my nails done a few times here, the acrylics, the technician was nice the first time but when I returned the last few times for a nail polish change, she was not very welcoming. I will never go back here.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI thought that I need and should share my experience. I went to Flirt spa to get my eyebrows done. I told the girl a few times and made it very clear to her that I want my eyebrows to stay full and only clean it. I also told her not to make my eyebrows rounded and to keep the shape. She said not to worry. After she finished, she did exactly the opposite! I have thin rounded eyebrows with so many nicks and red marks!!! It will take me at least 3 months to grow my brows back and I hope the marks go away! Very disappointed!I thought that I need and should share my experience. I told the girl a few times and made it very clear to her that I want my eyebrows to stay full and only clean it. I also told her not to make my eyebrows rounded and to keep the shape. First time getting my lash extensions done and I’m sure they pulled one over on me. I paid for Cashmere lashes, but based on the Instagram photos of these lashes, it looks like they used the cheap silk lashes but really long ones instead of what I paid for. It’s not my first time getting lashes so I know the difference. No consultation, no asking me what I really wanted but just a quick job to get it done before they closed up shop. The lashes are not soft and feathery. They’re stiff, plasticky, clumpy and i look cheap. City prices for cheap and really not great service. The job seemed rushed. I can’t believe I paid so much for the worst lashes I’ve ever had done.

THE WORST eyebrow threading experience I’ve ever had. $25 for eyebrow threading for them to leave me with half of my eyebrows. She also used tweezers which defeats the purpose of threading. If I didn’t have microblading already I wouldn’t be able to leave home without penciling them in. Drive the extra 10 minutes north and go to Reshma threading in Port Washington for a way better experience that leaves your with eyebrows afterward.

Despite the usually rude manager, I tried to continue to support this small business in Manhasset by giving them more chances. However, the last few times I received eyebrow threading/tweezing, I was left with red marks/scars on and around my brows. A day before the apointment, I went to my dermatologist to discuss it given I have super sensitive skin to nickel and even the cream made for sensitive skin causes allergies for me. My dermatologist right out said no because she believes that Most likely ill be one of those rare cases even if high quality ink is being used. I call’d the spa and without even a fuss, they cancelled my apointment and refunded my deposit. Yelena technique is really good because my sister got it done from her. So people who are interested and if its safe for you and not rare case like me…try them, have a consultation because your deposit and money will be safe there.. They will not make you feel stuck with them.
