Positive: ProfessionalismI scheduled with Joleen for a root touch up. She matched the color perfectly you can’t even tell I went to two different hair dressers. Her hair washing technique was on par. So relaxing and invigorating. I received lots of compliments on my hair being styled straight (I have naturally curly hair). I love sitting in her chair and catching up with her as well. I scheduled with Joleen for a root touch up. She matched the color perfectly you can’t even tell I went to two different hair dressers. Her hair washing technique was on par. So relaxing and invigorating. I received lots of compliments on my hair being styled straight (I have naturally curly hair). I love sitting in her chair and catching up with her as well. Critical: QualityScheduled an appointment online which is super convenient. I was placed with jolene as my stylist. I got a full highlight. I ended up paying 221$ with tip. For that price my hair should be red carpet ready…. Not at all what I got.While having my hair blow dried after washing out the bleach I could see pieces of my hair breaking off. It literally looked like it was snowing when she was drying my hair. There’s no way she didn’t see it. She mentioned nothing but decided to add some oil to my hair. I figured ok maybe it’s just a few strands that got over processed and it’s no big deal. She then decided to throw in a “free haircut” lol. Basically she was cutting off the damaged from her over bleaching. My hair had not been chemically processed for over 2 years as I was going back to my natural color so it was virgin hair. She finished drying my hair. At the end she told me there was one spot in the back that bled and she would fix it if I wanted her to, I said no it’s in the back it’s ok. I paid and left.The highlight job I inspected when I got home and it wasn’t just one spot where bled. There are four spots that bled over and didn’t look blended at all including one big chunk in the front next to my face. While running my hands through my hair with serum to try and help calm down the frizzy pieces and bleach damaged a chunk of hair that was clearly fried and over processed broke off about 1/2 from the root on my left temple area. I was heart broken as this was what I was trying to avoid. Especially when you pay a professional.I was gonna go back to jolene to have her add a few highlights to balance it out and quickly decided not too in fear of more broken off hair. I instead went to another salon to have an olaplex treatment and have my highlights blended more.My opinion don’t take on a task if you don’t have the skill.Service: Hair highlightingScheduled an appointment online which is super convenient.
