Positive: ProfessionalismI got my nails done here as a nail model. I’ve had a pedicure here at a different time and I loved it! This is my first full set here. I LOOOOOOOOVE my nails!!!!!!! Man!!!! I L O V E my nailsss!!!!!!These were a builder gel set with tips and gel color. This is my first gel builder set ever. I typically do dip application w/tips or acrylic application w/tips.I got a longer set than I was used to doing but I wanted to try something different in terms of length. (Activating another level in bad bissshery!!! ). Lines are smooth, the shapes I wanted were beautifully executed, and my nails feel so sturdy. This set did take a little time bc they were long nails (medium long?) with builder gel. It was well worth it. I would come back for this service!!!Cari (the nail tech/artist behind this work) was so accommodating/collaborative and knows her stuff! The staff (I don’t remember/know everyone’s names) here is very sweet over all and were very helpful!Update (12Nov2021) set was done 03Nov3021; :(Jk. Jk?)My nails are breaking and lifting off. I’ve only been typing at a computer the last week and doing a dish or two. Also, though it was an adjustment due to length (for me), I dont use my nails as tools.I went in on monday (the 8th) to repair my nail that cracked the Friday/Saturday (05/06Nov2021) of the same week that I got them done.There are weak spots that I found upon observing my nails closely over the days that followed but bc I’m not familiar with gel i assumed it was just me being picky and that I should allow the experts be the experts. So with that another crack in the same spot as the nail that broke (non-dominant hand). I’m going to guess that my index fingers are going to come off next.This service was a free service (minus the repair $4) for my honest review. So I came with an update bc the nails are coming off and the one lifting off hurts and it hasn’t been two weeks yet. Idk how much builder gel sets are but I wouldnt recommend it if you wanted longer nails here.Please keep in mind that materials used may not be compatible with my biology too aside from technique and shaping. This was my first builder set ever. And I don’t know if I’ll do this again. Or if the factor in this is that I were a paying customer and not nail modeling/reviewing, they would have lasted longer.Did not last near 2 weeks.I got my nails done here as a nail model. Everything is very clean and they always do such a great job. The staff is so friendly and professional.
