I have been going to Flavor Hair Braiding off and on for the last 12 years. I am always pleased with the service that I receive, both Meissa and Coumba have always shown that they care about their clients and are always attentive when other braiders are serving their clients and will pitch in whenever needed. The shop is always clean.

I was disappointed with my micro braids with human hair. I showed the owners a picture of the hairstyle that I wanted. What I got was completely different. The hair started falling out after one day. The back is shorter than the front and the hairstyle is thin. The owners refused to grantee their work. Do not waste your money at this salon. I also had to wash my hair in the bathroom sink. I am sure this is a state of MD violation. The salon was not clean. They use the same comb on different clients without sanitizing the combs between clients.

This was my first time at the shop and it was a great experience. The shop was very clean, furniture that you can actually sit on without fear of bugs, the people were very nice and accommodating. I went there with my 2-year old daughter and they were so nice to us. They were patient with her and didn’t braid her hair tight. Would definitely be going back there!

Been there quite a few times and have experienced 3 different braiders. They were very gentle and soothing on the hair and I am tender headed. Their precision on parting, symmetry and current braid techniques makes them a braid salon to go back over and over again. The owner runs a very efficient shop and it is the reason why every chair has a customer on the weekends!
