I asked for a taper and to specifically keep the top because the last guy I went to went up to much and he took like 2 inches off. Juan completely ignored it and cut my bangs and made my head look like a mushroom. I was growing my hair for a a wavy perm and he cut 5 months of hair growth off. The fade and taper was good but he made the top of my head look like a mushroom. It’s not a bad cut at all but is definitely not what I had asked for and now I’m having to cover my hair for the next 2-3 months.

Apparently this barbershop doesn’t cater to Black men. The second chair barber never speaks and the first chair barber has ignored me for the last time. I came in for a shape up on my beard and the giuy who usually does it was standing in the back room when I walked in. I waved at him and he didn’t acknowledge me and I say there for about 20 minutes. He never came out to say anything.

I’ve been coming here for about six months now. Jose is a great barber. He’s very talented and very attentive to details. I was scared the first time that I came because you don’t the cutting style of the barber but he prove me wrong. I’ve lived in Knightdale for 9 years now and have been to every barbershop in the city but none of them seem to be a good fit for me. Flaco’s Mastercuts is the best I’ve visited so far. Jose is by far the best barber I’ve had a cut with so far, he pays attention to every detail and his lines are great. If you’re looking for a new place to get a haircut look no further.
