This was my first visit to Five Star Nails. I was greeted immediately by a tech who was working. She advised me to sign in on a digital platform (awesome move) and I did. I was a walk-in and appreciated being acknowledged for they were busy . I was matched with an amazing tech named Henry! He was excellent! I received a well paced and relaxing Peppermint gel pedicure and a gel manicure! Every step of the pedicure was worth the cost! Henry didn’t rush the process,he took his time. I was very relaxed My gel manicure was exceptional as well. Everyone was pleasant and courteous. Great shop. Can’t wait to visit again !

My first visit was pleasant enough. Sunny did a great job on. You should get a good nail tech and stick with that person. My second visit was not so good. She cut my cuticle.

HORRIBLE customer service. I walked in at 2:30 pm and showed a picture of the desired design I wanted and the owner told me I my one tech can do it. I walked over to the tech station and she said come back at 5:30pm. I returned at 5:15 pm and approached her station to let her know I was early. She was just starting a new customer ( putting tips on ) I asked was she sure she could start me at 5:30 pm she said just wait and sit down I said can you answer my question please she said no I don’t want to service you I said no problem but in the future be truthful about your availability when a customer is timing there day around the time you confirmed.

Tina the owner can not do nails, I went in for a gel manicure she rushed through everything didn’t file all my nails I had to file my own nails. Then when she polished she put polish all over my cuticles. Every time I said anything about anything she acted like I was more of a burden then the customer. Lloyd did my toes and she allowed him to charge me to take off my gel polish when the price of a regular pedicure is only $28. I decided not to get any polish because he cut my toes so low when I asked Tina the owner about it she said he charged to take off gel. That doesn’t even make sense. I don’t appreciate bad service especially on my hard earned money and this is suppose to feel like our reward. Lloyd tried to fix my nails and he made it the same and said it’s because I have shorter nails if you can’t do short nails you should say that instead of just ruining my nails.

I’ve been there before and the service was amazing but when I went a second time, I was very disappointed. I went in for a full set and a pedicure. Typically when you walk into a nail salon, they’ll have you pick a color and then sit, but my nail tech was hell bent on my sitting down and putting my feet in the water before I could pick a color. It was frustrating because she handed me a selection of colors and I really didn’t like the selection, so I just got black.
