I’m white and when I told Bossman I needed a skin fade he didn’t blink twice before getting to work. Best service and skill I’ve ever had, not just in state college. Gone to get a haircut 3 times now as I don’t frequently get haircuts. However they never disappoint. Very sharp job. They give a great fade, and the service is on the spot. One important tip, call a few days ahead. They get a bunch of student costumers so it will assure a spot.

1st timet showed up at noon as a walk in, left at 2: 50 without a haircut because I didn’t have enough change to hold the meter. These guys seem like they do fantastic, but don’t walk in and expect to get a haircut without an appointment. The guys there seem like they have a good personality, but I was not warned about the extreme wait time and lost 3 hours out of my day.

Waited only 30 mins because I went as soon as they opened. Best cut I’ve gotten in state college. Didn’t see a smile or hear a word out of the guy cutting my hair until I tipped him. Place could use some cleaning up, but hair cuts are great.

Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Went in at 10 am and left at 1250pm without a hair cut because I had to get a class. This is the second day in a row I waited for 2+ hours to get a cut and didn’t even get one. They are excruciatingly slow with their service and have no sense of urgency even when the room is full with 10 people waiting. They would stop in the middle of cuts to play on their phones while everyone who’s been waiting there for hours just sits and watches. The waiting room only has one couch so everyone else has to wait on hard metal foldable chairs. Whenever I asked if I could make an appointment they essentially rejected me and told me I can just do a walk in, which clearly doesn’t work considering the extreme waiting time for walk ins. You would think that at this point they would just do appointments only to save the time and frustration of customers and use an app like Booksy to better manage it. I will say that they do give some of the best cuts in State college, but the poor management and customer service has turned me off from this place forever.

Guy can do magical things with a razor, I only get short cuts and fades so I can’t advise on anything more, but just from what I’ve seen in the (pretty long) waits before my cut, he is fantastic. Highly reccomended but get an appointment because even though he does walk-ins, you’ll be waiting a while

This place is awesome for shape ups, bold fades, and basically anything a guy needs. ALSO he does FREE appointments which is super convenient. Been going there with my friends for a bit and never had a compliant.

You gonna wait all day for a okay hair cut. It’s almost not worth the trip because the extreme wait time. They really shady with severing in he order in which you come. They gonna put their friends ahead of you. It super irritating every time I came here this is the last time today.
