Wow this is the worst dermatologist I have ever been to. Very awkward experience……I paid 110 dollars for a nurse practitioner to barely look at the spots on my back. Told me she feels they are age spots. She said she didn’t believe they were cancerous but couldn’t know unless I schedule to come back and get them scraped or froze off…… I was shocked that she never even touched them or examined them on my back besides a quick glance. All of this as she stood over me making me feel so awkward that I physically had to move a seat over so I could look across to her instead up at her. Definitely was not a safe feeling environment. Needless to say I will never walk back into this dermatologist office again.

Very weird experience here; walked into the office. The minute you step foot into the office, there are a ton of people waiting. The office is how do I say, unkept looking? It’s not the most cleanest, sophisticated looking office if that matters to you. Office staff was pleasant. I saw the doc walking back and forth and thought it was a patient at first bc he was wearing what looked like velvet pants and a ragged looking sweatshirt?? He wasn’t wearing a lab coat which I thought was odd. Very unprofessional imo. We walked into the exam room and the PA walked in, who was very nice but thought it was weird that a PA was examining my child and not the doc. She said she wasn’t sure about the mole and said we may need to take a biopsy… and then the doc walks in and he gives us his opinion, and says all looks good. I’m wondering why the PA was there in the first place giving us her opinion which ended up being completely opposite from what the doc told us. Right after told us his opinion, he literally walked out of the room.. He didn’t even ask us if we had any questions . I was shocked. My daughter has an appointment w the same doctor next week, and will definitely cancel the appointment.

I had a great experience with Dr. Tien Q Nguyen. He performed the RF Tightening laser, and made my first experience wonderful. He was knowledgeable, patient, and helped me with my first time gitters. We walked me through the process before, and during the procedure. I would definitely be going back.

I am a patient here at First OC Dermatology. I have enjoyed every visit. The staff here is REALLY nice and helpful. They try to help me get on the right path of treatments and never judge me for my needs and questions. I have been to a couple dermatologist and this one is by far my favorite.

From the moment we walked in and left, the experience was horrible! There was an army of workers processing payments (scam vibes). Finally we had the displeasure of Dr. Vivian Laquer walking in with hands crossed and a condescending tone telling us she can’t help us. The front desk could’ve mentioned that but NO, they ended up charging us a consultation feee for no reason. Stay away from this shady establishment!!

My 1st time coming here for a surgery. I was so scared and nervous a lot. And thanks God,Theresa took care for me so so well. She is super nice, professional and make me feel less scared and calm me down before the surgery. And then Dr. Tien Nguyen was the one helped me thru the process. He is so kind, he did a great job, out of my expectation. I thought i would lose the eyebrow since that was the area supposed to surgery, and yes, its close to the eye, it’s dangerous but he did it so well, i feel no pain and he tried his best to not lose my eyebrows lol. I truly appreciate their service. Highly recommend!

I went to the dermatologist to get a few spots checked out. The Doctor looked at them and said stop picking at the scabs, and I agreed with him and then he started talking about the bible, injected some steroids and off he went, he never looked at the spot on my right arm, I called back to see if they would look at it. They said I had to make another appointment. In 3 months and would be another charge. I said he never finished this one. The doctor seemed to be in a rush to get to the next appointment. I am very disappointed with the doctor,

I’ve had diagnosed psoriasis since i was 5 years old. I’m ten times that number now. My point is, I have visited too numerous to count doctors for skin. Patient compliance is just as important as the care you receive from a doctor. I’m extremely pleased with the care I’ve received from this practice and staff and couldn’t be happier. I learned a number of new things regarding something I thought I had a grasp on. Thank you to Dr. Nguyen and staff for the amazing care and saving me money on non generic medication!
