My Daughter had to have her nails done for her prom, the ladies at first nails took her right in, did exactly what she wanted at a great price. These ladies are skilled at what they do.

Positive: Quality, ValueThey always do good work. I think they have a good selection of colors and types -dips, gels ect. It depends what you are looking for-if you are looking for a super modern, pristine nail salon-then no. But if you want reliable quality at a good price, with nice staff-then yes. $43 for a full set. And they do what you ask them to do-that’s not easy to find.If you are not that worried about covid then it’s kind of like a neighborhood dive bar. It’s comforting, always stays the same with just a few mandated tweaks. If you are worried about the global pandemic then maybe wait or take extra precautions -they do wipe down the chairs between customers. Two of the three nail stations have plastic partitions. The fans that they have you dry your nails with are at face level so that’s unfortunate . You don’t have to make an appointment which is nice. You can wait in your car if they are busy.I know this is a controversial subject but this is the first thing I did from the “before time” after being vaccinated. Although I still wore a N95 and a mask with a eye shield over it but I’m a nurse and I’ve seen more suffering in the last year than in my previous 25 so I’m not trying to push my views down anyone’s throat. I’m just giving a review for people that are trying to be careful. You do youFor me-If I wasn’t fully vaccinated, I wouldn’t go to any salon. I have added risk factors and so do all the people I take care of. Wearing masks is something I’ve always had to do at work so it doesn’t feel like my Liberty is being infringed upon. And we have always worn different types of masks for different situations in health care so I know they help mitigate risk but life is inherently risky so everyone should have reliable info-not skewed based on someone’s agenda- so they can make their own decisions.I’m not sure how my review of my manicure turned into this but that’s the world we live in right now. Everything is a statement . Everyone is one a “side”But honestly this review IS about this business-they survived the pandemic and they are trying to keep their customers happy. Which I can imagine is a nightmare in any business right now.. No one made fun of my mask situation and no one said anything to the lady who’s mask never made it over her nose. We were all just happy to be doing something normal in a place where we used to.Services: Pedicure, ManicureThey always do good work. They lady in the first chair did my nails. She did an awesome job and gave me exactly what I wanted but she cut my cuticle and now I have the worst hangnail of my life and still charged me full price. She did not address cutting my finger even though it was bleeding and I didn’t even get an apology. I’ve never been cut by someone doing my nails before and I’m sure she doesn’t do it all the time but now my cuticle is very messed up and I have a super painful hangnail 🙁

Worst nail salon I have ever been too. The lady was very rude. She cut my nails crooked and barely filed them. The one nail she did file, a small piece was about to chip off but she left it hanging. She was going to just polish over it until I asked her to remove it. The work was very sloppy, didn’t even bother cleaning up all the smudges (which was pretty much every single nail). Tried asking her nicely but gave me an attitude instead. Will never go back and would avoid at all cost.

Kay is not an awesome technician. Don’t care what anyone says. She is a great person but i think she hates her job. Or more than half her customers. Shes a hustler.. Lol. Okay I’ve gone 4 times each time spending the cost of a mani&pedi. Everytime they are in a rush to complete the job. And dont have any care about what you truly want. I’ve asked for gems and was told not this time 3 times. I was told to bite my nails off when i asked about getting a new set because its easier. I was cut by the nail technician and not even offered a discount when i came back. I asked for a price and the previous time i was told 35 when i went for it again it was 43. This time i took photos of each cut. The women took me at 715p and they worked on me together. My feet always come out nice but i could do them at home for 30. As for my hands she didnt dust the acrylics off and put the clear coat on top of it. She filed my skin on the side of 4 fingers and then stood looking at me when she gave me my change as if i were to tip her. Now I’m going back just to have them see what they did. And i will find a place to post the photos of all the marks i have. My fingers are buring when i wash my hands. If youre in a rush go here and be aware!!!!

Did they do 100%? Naw, fell short like every other local nail salon I been to. Paint job was the same as expected. You get what you get for the price you’re willing to pay. I can tell you though, out of the last 3 I been to I’d actually return to this place. They were friendlier & accommodating to us having an appt (my momma & me) having other walk ins wait while we got our pedi’s. I bet if I were a regular & they remember my good tips, then the paint job might step up a notch as well. Overall, happy & willing to go back. More stars than the last ones.
