semi permanent hair color with cut. April does an excellent job. Is good to her clients and always professional and respectful. I like that the salon has service fees in varying price ranges, allows for an affordable wash and cut even if it’s a student in training. The students are monitored and enjoy working with April and in this salon.

Don’t waist your time or money. Argued with her the whole time. She would not cut my hair short enough and ended up paying way too much for what she did or didn’t do. My hair looked awful! I ended up having to see another hair dresser to get it done correctly. I know someone else who had the same experience with First Impression Salon. 🙁

She was very knowledgeable and offered me multiple possibilities to achieve the results I desired. My hair turned out amazing and I’ve received constant compliments on it!April was able to recommend multiple products for me to try out, some of which she even used during my visit so I could see the effects before I bought them! The products I brought home with me, coupled with a few tips from her, made it easy to recreate the awesome style she gave me. I must admit I’m a little bit of a tough customer because it’s hard for me to articulate exactly what it is I’m looking for but April knew all the right questions to ask. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI had two appointments with April to color and cut my hair since she didn’t have time to do both in one day. She got my hair to a color I was generally okay with, but wasn’t thrilled. I have very curly hair and while I was reassured by April she could properly cut my hair, she absolutely cut it like my hair was pin straight. It doesn’t look good.I also felt like both times I went to see April she was trying to get me to make more appointments for additional services just to spend money, not out of necessity. She also brought up some VERY unprofessional topics in conversation both times I saw her. I hadn’t gone to a salon for 4 years before this experience, and now I remember why. Hundreds of dollars later for a bad haircut and little to no change in my hair color. Allie was phenomenal. I got a haircut and highlights. The salon had a great atmosphere and was not at all pretentious. It’s a bit pricey, but not unusual or too high for the county.

I just had a wonderful experience at this salon yesterday with April! I walked in without an appointment and she asked if I could wait 10 minutes. She was very sweet, professional and competent. I love my haircut and style she gave me. I can honestly say that her cut is as good as the one I regularly get in New York City for $200. I can’t wait to go back.
