I tried First Impressions and Shay when my other salon closed and the owner moved. I was nervous trying someone new. But this salon is beautiful, super clean and very friendly. Best of all Shay did my lashes and brows to perfection. She custom mixed my color (I am a light skin redhead with natural blond brows). They look natural but still showstopper. I have already booked more services and can’t wait to come back. I have found my new home !!

This salon is very clean and modern. The staff are very welcoming. However, just for highlights on my short hair, it took 4 hours. I walked in exactly at 9am for my appointment and did not leave until 1:10pm. I had plans with friends at noon so we had to cancel them. I figured it would take no longer than 2 and 1/2 hours. Also, the price for just highlights (no trim, cut, thinning), was $200. I’m very patient, but this was a little ridiculous. Unfortunately, I’m going to stick with my regular go-to salon from now on.

I sometimes am not sure how to describe the look I’m hoping to achieve but she asks the right questions and then makes it happen. The color(s) and cut always turn out great and I walk out feeling prettier than when I went in. The last time I went, she waxed and tinted my brows too and they look the best they ever have. She’s kind, professional and talented. Haley has never done my hair but I’ve watched her work on others and it’s beautiful too. I happened to drive by first impressions hair design and was curious about it since it’s a 5 minute drive from my house. Shay was so friendly and knowledgeable. I had an appointment with Shay, it was my first time at the salon. I was driving 25, 30 minutes to get my hair done because I loved the hair dresser I was going to. I happened to drive by first impressions hair design and was curious about it since it’s a 5 minute drive from my house. Shay was so friendly and knowledgeable. I chopped quite a significant amount of hair off and I am getting so many compliments on it! These ladies are amazing! After searching salons near me I called first impressions to fix the poorly, home colored, extremely long and thick hair for my niece. Rachel the owner answered the phone and made time for us the same day to fix her hair before my niece started a new school. Rachel had no idea what she agreed to. After 3 hours of cheerfully coloring, washing and cutting my niece left feeling confident and excited. Rachel went home late to her family. I happened to overhear her quietly telling them to be patient. This is the mark of a true professional. Even though she was missing valuable time with her family she stayed until the job was done and she made her client happy. Thank you so much First Impressions! It is a very fitting name. The salon is super cute and comfy with services that are as good or better than most larger, stuffy, and impersonal salons I have been to Before.
