I’ve tried alot of different barbers thru out the country as a truck driver and he stands out. With 20 years experience this guy was able to cut my hair without any challenges. And I have tough hair to cut being my hair is thin and fine. Called and he was willing to stay open later for my accommodations. In this day and age with everything being so stiff he brought back to me what a good old fashioned trip to the barber is supposed to be about. The gentleman that cut my hair is your infamous local legend. He owns the little shop and keeps it real from the second you walk in. I’ve tried alot of different barbers thru out the country as a truck driver and he stands out. With 20 years experience this guy was able to cut my hair without any challenges. And I have tough hair to cut being my hair is thin and fine. Called and he was willing to stay open later for my accommodations. Carlos is AMAZING!!!! We’ve been coming here since my son was bout 2 years old. Now he’s 7 years old. Prior to coming to Carlos, I’ve went to several other barbershops in town. They would just have you come in, sit in the chair and rush you out. They didn’t take the time to know you on a personal level. Carlos takes his time with my son. He’s very kid friendly and knows my son personally. He’s very patient with kids. He has an area set up for kids while they wait, so they don’t get bored. While others are getting their haircuts, they can be playing basketball. Most barbershops are closed on Mondays, Carlos however is opened. He makes his hours and days convenient to his customers. If you don’t want to be disappointed, give Carlos a try!!!!! You won’t leave unhappy!!!! ✂

I’ve been going to Carlos for the past 6 or 7 years now and he has not once messed up on my cut in all that time. I highly recommend him, I get compliments all the time on my haircuts. He also has appointments on Wednesdays if you need to get in and get out.

Hair cuts are always on point! Give respect, get respect and plan accordingly on your end. No nonsense barber, I have never left without giving extra tip for a job well done. When he cuts your hair it’s like his name is walking out the door on top of your head, he puts in the effort to make sure it comes out the best cut possible. The barber is like your uncle cutting your hair. Great guy and really laid back. If you want a Supercuts atmosphere this isn’t the place. Its a guy type of hair shop. You get in and have a good laugh with everyone and get the hell out. I personally like that alot.

I just have to say a couple of things about this shop. First off, I live in Fresno and it has always been worth the drive. Secondly, Carlos’s ability to create an atmosphere that is not just welcoming and warm, but real and not fluffed up by gimics or fancy hair products is why it’s worth it to make the drive. Carlos is a man of many words, but that’s what I love about him. He can relate to my cousin and his passion for “Cholofit” as well as a new guy that walks in for a flat top, he can help your kid stay calm during his first cut, but keep it real when you need a friend. The man is a chameleon of cutting, he blends in and molds conversations and cuts to whoever is in the chair. In the end BS fads, fancy chairs, and $40 haircuts will come and go, but my man Carlos will be here waiting for you. Carlos, stay true to who you are and never back down.
