Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI’ve been going to Winnie at this shop for 11 months. I tip $10 on a $45 dip powder service charge every time. The last few months my nails started cracking after several days which I thought was odd, but chalked it up to being the “norm” for dip powder (it was new to me). This last time I went, two nails on my right hand seriously cracked the next day. I have a desk job, so no – I’m not rough on my nails. In less than a week SEVEN of my nails cracked. I scheduled a 5:30 repair appointment with Winnie (they’re open until 7). When I arrived the shop was closed with no one there! I called the phone number posted on their door and got voicemail. Left a message with my name and phone number and that I was there at the closed salon for our appointment. A week later – still no call back. The dip product she put on my nails is MAYBE about as thick as 3 coats of nail polish. I will NOT go back there ever again. Nails look very nice when you walk out, but don’t waste your money. I’ve been going to Winnie at this shop for 11 months. I tip $10 on a $45 dip powder service charge every time. The last few months my nails started cracking after several days which I thought was odd, but chalked it up to being the “norm” for dip powder (it was new to me). Critical: QualityThe tech cut a little deep into my cuticles causing the skin to break on 3 fingers. I got the dip powder color blue and she didn’t clean up the sides of my nails after service so I still have blue stuck on powder along the nails. She also cut my thumb nail down too short after I’d already expressed how short I wanted my nails. They didn’t provide a discount after such poor service which honestly I’m not surprised. The tech cut a little deep into my cuticles causing the skin to break on 3 fingers. I got the dip powder color blue and she didn’t clean up the sides of my nails after service so I still have blue stuck on powder along the nails. She also cut my thumb nail down too short after I’d already expressed how short I wanted my nails. They didn’t provide a discount after such poor service which honestly I’m not surprised.
