I was also contacted through instagram. Due to family stuff, i couldnt respond at the time, but the very next day Jennifer called me again. Jennifer is the manager of Fina and she was very kind; she listened to me talk about what happened in detail, she asked proactive questions, and then offered me multiple options to correct the existing problems with my acyrlics.PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE.I chose to have my daughters acrylics refunded as a gift card (Since due to the aforementioned family stuff, my daughter isn’t coming back to Idaho untill Christmas) and elected to have my current set redone. Fina Beauty went beyond the call in making the situation right: I had rescheduled my appt for last monday, but due to my own stupid, i missed that appoint and they were super accomidating in still getting me in this monday (8/17). Elma was the tech who did my nails, who also happens to be the owner (she was so gracious and was very adament that she wanted to do my nails herself). As I said in my first review, I chose to stick with a black to red ombre, which is exceptionally difficult to do right. Black is an unforgiving acrylic and Elma made it look easy.I will leave one picture from the old poor review ( itll be the first one.) and include pictures of the nails Elma did. They are gorgeous and I have finally found my new nail salon.THANK YOU! Jennifer, Elma, and KIM! My first review wasn’t the greatest, but Kim you came to me today and jumped right into apologizing. You were kind and understanding and Thank you for being so willing to engage with me without prompting. I know after a bad review it can feel bad, actually hurt ones feelings, and I know it can be very uncomfortable to deal with a person who may have made you feel upset. So thank you. I appreciate your interaction today just as much as I appreciated getting my nails done. All of you are wonderful and I hope that I can get an appointment with you in the future Kim for something that your great at.Enough of the sap.TLDR: Need a new nail tech? Willing to spend a bit more to get excellent product and even better customer service? Fina Beauty Nails is worth the appointment.Just make sure that if you are unsatisfied you can point out exactly what went wrong. If they know what went wrong, then the techs at Fina Beauty will fix it and do it better than you hoped.Synopsis of previous poor review: 8/7, two appts, set appt for two manis and two pedis with full acrylics. I went in to get my gel polish removed so I didn’t ruin my actual nails, as well some simple cuticle care from Keli. Turns out I should’ve just did it myself at home cause I left with 3 bloody and painful fingers. The lady next to me getting her nails done was even concerned. I had to ask for cotton pads to take with me so I could keep wiping the blood as they would not stop. She offered the tiniest little bandaids that did absolutely nothing. Pretty sure you shouldn’t be leaving a nail salon with blood all over your hands! No apologies either. She also hardly talked to me during the appointment besides pointing out some cracks on my thumb. “You need to get that taken care of” Pro tip… if you work in the beauty service industry maybe don’t point out people’s flaws that may be an insecurity. Thanks for the advice but you need to work on your delivery.

I will never be back. I had this place recommended by a friend, but they are terrible. My nail tech hardly talked to me, let alone asked me what I wanted to keep from my acrylic fill. She then told me that I had hard gel on rather than acrylic, which I pointed out to her was not so. But she filled my nails with hard gel anyways, rendering my underlying acrylic useless. My nails have never looked worse. It hasn’t even been a week and they are chipping so bad! I went in to get my money back and they said they don’t do refunds, but I could have the owner fix them. Why would I want to have them do my nails again when they obviously do not care about their clientele or products? I told the manager that I guess I would do that but I would be back if they continued to do what they were doing. I left and got an email confirmation of my appointment with the owner for a few days later. Then about an hour later I got another email stating that my appointment had been changed back to the original nail tech “per my request”…. I did not ask for this. This business is a scam, not listening to clients and honoring their products. I was told it was my fault because I was too rough on my nails even though I went in less than 24 hours after my appointment with the nails posted below… I will never go back or recommend. Ever.

This was my first experience here and sadly I won’t be back. I just paid $70 for one of the worst nail sets I’ve ever had and I get my nails done often. My nails are glued to my finger tips(which hurts) my nail art is nothing like I asked it to be and she cut my cuticles too short so now my fingers are aching. I never leave a bad review, but I thought I needed to let everyone know. I would have liked to email the owner but there is not an email I can find to do so.

i’m a little sad to be writing this because i used to love this salon when i was coming here a couple years ago. i booked an appointment for a full set with anyone that was available just for simple fact i wanted to get in asap and not wait 2+ weeks. i didn’t receive a “mini manicure” that is advertised when booking a full set, every nail is a different shape. the day after my appointment, 5 of my nails had already started lifting and i wasn’t being “hard” on them anymore than usual. two days after my appointment, i had one nail pop off while washing my face. it’s very disappointing that i had such a bad service given the fact i used to rave about salon and they cost so much $$$
