I wish I lived closer because this is by far my favorite place to get my nails done whenever I need a little self care. Whenever I am in the area, this is my go to place for a mani and pedi. No matter how long it’s been, I always get a lovely greeting and they remember me and ask how my dog is, etc. Shows how much they genuinely care about their clients. Every visit it’s a wonderful, relaxing experience. Each person that works there that I’ve met has been so kind and accommodating, the atmosphere is relaxing and the glass windows make the space bright and airy. Everything is always well cleaned and place spotless. They do beautiful work and offer a variety of different options for mani and pedis as well which are all reasonably priced. They stand by their work as well-one time I actually chipped a toe nail walking out to my car and they quickly fixed it. Also a great place to get your brows done…every time I go in I get mine done and it’s one of the few places that doesn’t leave my sensitive skin red for hours post wax. Wonderful variety of nail polish colors that are all natural and non toxic which is hard to find too. By far my favorite nail salon and they are great at accommodating same day appointments as well. Highly recommend.

I have been to a few other nail places in the area and am so impressed with Fifth Ave Nails! The salon was so clean, well lit, and smelled absolutely amazing. They took their time getting my nails back in tip top shape and listened to all of my shape and length wants. I am so excited to return in December!

I love fifth avenue nails. I love how they have vegan and non toxic polish. It’s a very calming environment inside and the employees have always been so kind to me. terrible. over charged me. on my online booking i got a 45 dollar gel manicure and 15 dollar nail cleaning. I payed $33 online before my appointment and then they charged 70 in person(not plus tip) when I called after I had seen the charge they would only refund me $10 in store credit. After expressing I needed a refund back to my credit card and that I needed a refund for more than $10 they would only charge back $10 to my card but then I had to go into salon. Also during my appointment I was showing a reference of the design I wanted, I got told by my nail tech that she has no time for design because there is a person booked after me. That is just not right especially because the design was not complicated by any means. Just not a nice experience over all and will not be returning.

Awful, embarrassing, and very unprofessional experience. I have used this place in the past but never will again and will also stop recommending that others go here. I called on August 25th at 1:53 PM to make TWO pedicure appointments for my mother and I to celebrate her birthday. While on the phone, I made sure to reiterate a few times that this would be for TWO spa pedicures for Friday Sept. 2. The lady I spoke with seemed very nice and even repeated back to me that I am all set for two pedicure appointments at 4:00 on 9/2… cut to today and I am so disappointed. This is not How I wanted to start my mother’s birthday weekend. We were greeted by a woman who asked for my name for the appointment. She then walked away and dismissed me while talking. She called over a man who then explained that he did not have an appointment for me. I asked why I wasn’t told this when we walked in and were greeted… he then mumbled and made a gesture trying to say that she does not speak much english even though she was the one who asked for my name and appointment time. I then asked if they could just take my mom for a spa pedicure… he walked away. My mother then began to get upset (rightfully so) and asked if they had an opening or not, to which he said “sorry, but only regular pedicure right now”. She is now sitting in the chair getting half of the treatment I boasted to her about. This is ridiculous. Get a better booking system, or please KEEP YOUR BOOKINGS BETTER ORGANIZED!! I work in customer service, so normally I have more sympathy, but not in this case. DO NOT GO HERE. OVERPRICED AND UNORGANIZED GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

I had a wonderful experience here at 5th Avenue nails . Lia did my pedicure . I am very picky as I am an Advanced Nail Technician with high standards . The first thing that I noticed when I walked in was how clean and fresh it was . As soon as I walked in , I was asked to wash my hands . I noticed that everything was organized (including the storage room) . All of the implements looked like they had been cleaned and files , buffers, etc were single use . They seem to be very thorough when they cleaned the pedicure bowl . Now on to the pedicure . I loved the natural products , I also loved that I didn’t feel pain at all during my service . Lia did a great job at not cutting where she wasn’t supposed to and I really appreciate it . I think that this will be my new place for pedis .

UPDATE::: Sad to have to update this review negatively. I got a notification that they were having a 20% off for specific days, so I booked the Boozy Vanilla Chai Pedicure which was supposed to be for 65 minutes. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment, picked a color, and was set down to lukewarm water. I asked her for more hot water, she turned the water on for like 20 seconds, and turned it off again. Then she proceeded to RUSH through the whole thing while complaining about how busy they were going to be that day. There were only 3 other customers getting services while I was there. So, my 65 minute service ended up being 40 minutes! She moved me over to the drying station, let me sit there for less than 5 minutes, and rushed me out the door in those flimsy flip flops. I wouldn’t have booked the more expensive service if I knew I wasn’t going to get the whole time. This salon is pretty far out of the way for me, so I will not be returning. 🙁

So my boyfriend got me a gift certificate here for my birthday in 2019 and I used it in October 2020 to get my nails done for my friend’s wedding. Usually any simple manicure from a nail salon has lasted less than a week for me and will start to majorly chip within that time. A week after this manicure, my nails were barely chipped. Flash forward to last week, I went back to use the rest of my certificate and got another natural manicure. The nail polish is still barely chipped. Best quality natural manicures I’ve ever had. The service here is great too and they have a great selection of nail polish on a cool magnetic wall. It’s very clean and quaint and the employees are all professional. My boyfriend’s sister drives all the way from South Windsor just to get her nails done with me here because she loves it that much. What an experience!Warm greetings were given from all staff as soon as I stepped through the door. I sat with David for both my spa pedicure and spa manicure and have nothing but positive things to say! I already booked my next appointment (something I have never done at any other salon). My nails are absolute perfection!Aside from how good my nails and toenails look, the environment itself is something to talk about. Fifth Ave is fresh, clean, and super relaxing. The music is on point with the salons overall vibe and very much in the background so I was even able to focus and read my book during the pedicure.Lastly, COVID precautions are exceptional. Your temperature is taken at the door, where you are then asked to wash your hands. They have sneeze guards hanging at all stations and space out customers appropriately.
