Kyla is a new stylist. She was so thoughtful and conscientious. I’ve been to her now twice for foils and hair cuts. Both times I’ve been very satisfied with her work. I won’t ever go to this salon again. Although my hairdresser was nice and social the business in itself is something I do not wish to go to again. From the start the owner rudely forced me to put a mask on. Didn’t even ask politely. It’s been proven that these masks do not work and it’s not recommended through the CDC so why on gods earth would this woman force it onto her clients?? I was to get a single process color, condition, and cut. I paid for the Groupon that was to cover all of these said expenses but they told me I had to pay an extra $25 (SCAM). She’s likely trying to make more or at least get money back because a percentage of these purchases get paid directly to Groupon on top of the discount, not the businesses that are doing the services. As my hairdresser proceeded with my hair she was hardly putting any color on. If I’m paying for the service and also getting charged an EXTRA FEE my hair better be getting covered COMPLETELY. Towards my ends she got even more skimpy and said she was combing my hair as she was going along so she didn’t have to use as much hair color. As I was waiting for the color to sit I noticed pieces were missed which was clearly because of the skimping. She claimed it was because it was “drying out” I know that’s not the case. She then added more. As she was washing my hair I could tell she wasn’t getting the back of my head enough. After blow drying it you could feel how grimy it was (most likely due to not thoroughly being rinsed out). They didn’t share WiFi to customers where there is a dead zone at their location and didn’t offer me or any other clients a drink even though they had some. The music is super low so it’s just not a fun environment at all. I solely blame the owner for the girl not being able to properly work on my hair. She’s still new and learning and needs a proper mentor. NOT TO MENTION SHE’S NOT LICENSED!!! This owner should not be in business. Ridiculous experience. I don’t suggest this place to anyone.

Unfortunately I hoped that the negative reviews were not a fair representation, but they proved to be right. I had a a Groupon voucher of $77 for single color and cut, however was asked to pay $95 on top of that (pre-tip). I do have thick hair and there was extra color, but I doubt it costs $45/ bowl of color. I had a cut from long to medium length hair and one color to full-lenght application.At the time of the visit there was another customer, who is friends with the owner. The owner, that woman and my stylist kept gossiping and swearing almost the whole time. It was very unprofessional and unpleasant. I was never offended water or coffee or anything and I was there for 3 hours. My stylist said we’re done and never offered a mirror to see the back. The back of my haircut wasn’t what I asked for. My stylist didn’t offer a solution. The owner interfered suggesting to “get used to it and five them a call”. I definitely felt that I had to leave. Overall, the customer experience was very underwhelming, stressful and disappointing.
