Hello I’ve had some Cornrows & Box braids done several times by Cassandra. I have Sister locks, which could be challenging to do Sisterlocks with Braids. She did a Fantastic job doing it. Not tight, & not disturbing my locking process. & She’s very nice & professional. Also Fatima The Owner. who did my hair for the 1st time. recently put my Sister Locks in Blonde (#613) box braids for my vacation. My braids were so unique & pretty… Not tight, & didn’t disturb my sister locks at all. She’s also very nice & professional. I’m a satisfied Customer who gives 7 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Shop was very dirty, I asked for my natural hair to get twisted. The end result was horrible, I always do my own hair and it’s much neater, and better than what I paid $80 for. Three of us had a 9am appointment and there was only one person there braiding. Horrible, horrible service, it was a waste of my time and hard earning money.

I sat there for 2 hours before they gave me the price after I asked multiple times. When called the owner her response was I thought it was only 2 braids of cornrows and wherever you go you have to wait. She did even apologize for not giving a price or the fact that I waited for 2 hours when I had an appointment. I would never go here again not even if it is the last African shop in town. Very disappointed because I did not even get my hair done. If I could give zero stars I would!!!! The owner is unprofessional as well as her workers. I sat there for 2 hours before they gave me the price after I asked multiple times. When called the owner her response was I thought it was only 2 braids of cornrows and wherever you go you have to wait. She did even apologize for not giving a price or the fact that I waited for 2 hours when I had an appointment. I would never go here again not even if it is the last African shop in town. Im not from CT and everything I’ve been doing has been based on reviews. Some have been truthful and others not so much. In this case they were extremely accurate. I LOVE my hair and the staff was nice and able to answer all of my questions. I felt comfortable I the salon and to top it off the prices were reasonable and it didn’t take long to finish. I wish I could take them with me on my next travel assignment!!!
