Critical: Professionalism, QualityIf I could give this place zero stars, I would. Sadly it’s in my neighborhood and I keep giving them chances to mess up. This time was the worst and I won’t be back. A female technician who I think might own the place was doing my dip manicure. I get them all the time and know the procedure well. The old dip is supposed to be soaked off and usually wipes off neatly. She started removing it with an electric file. I asked three times not to because that usually damages my nails. She kept nodding while continuing to use the file. I know this woman speaks English, so it was not a language barrier. I finally got her to stop filing and explained that it should be soaked off. She complied but barely used any acetone. I knew that would be a problem. Sure enough, after waiting a long time, it would not wipe off. So then she took a cuticle clipper and started hacking each piece off with the sharp tip. Chunks of my nails were being gouged. Two cracked completely. I asked her to stop and explained that she needed to find a better way to remove the old dip. All while this was going on, she was talking loudly over my head to the technicians across the room in their native language. And making calls on her cell phone. It was so uncomfortable. She finally got most of the old dip off my nails, poured oil all over my hands and told me I could leave. Clearly we were both done with this manicure. I asked if I could at least have something to wipe the oil off and she reluctantly handed me a washcloth. Then she demanded $10 from me for the dip removal. I refused and gave her $5. My nails look like they’ve been through a war. I’’ll need to wait a few days before going for a real manicure. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My daughter went to get a dip manicure before her Homecoming Dance. It was $50 with tip. Within two days, they had begun to chip off. The nail tech who performed the manicure did the whole thing in about 10 minutes and then walked away and scrolled on his phone. He was evidently not particularly concerned with his work. I called to ask them to redo the nails and I spoke with a man who said he would. He asked me to have her send the pictures and text a phone number he provided. She did. He then told her they only will redo them within 48hrs (this is NOT what he told me on the phone) and he would need the credit card receipt. She is a teen, so she paid cash (and they gave her NO receipt, conveniently, I’m sure). He said he didn’t think he could help her. So, when they spoke to me, an adult, they were happy to redo the nails. When they spoke to her, even after telling me they would take care of it, they couldn’t help. This is a pretty clear example of an establishment knowing they can take advantage of a young person. We have gone to many establishments and never had any sorts of problems like this. They clearly took advantage of the fact that she was a teenager. They flat out lied to me that they would take care of it. That’s such a terrible business practice.

This place is very bad. Don’t let the location fool you. My wife and I went in for a manicure and pedicure. The nail tech caused 3 of my fingers to bleed. She used a wet towel from the floor that was used on my feet to clean the blood and applied super glue without my knowledge or consent. I have made a formal complaint to the board. Also, they didn’t have any of the techs cosmetology licenses on display. All the owner cared about was why the tip was not good.

My daughter and I have been getting our nails done for a few months and always have a wonderful experience. My daughter has very small nail beds and Mark does an incredible job on her nails. Acrylic nails, Pedicure

Don’t waste your time at this establishment. This is a gel pedicure that I got at Fashion nails 4 days ago- I should have had my 5 year old paint my toes instead. I was told initially that the pedicure would be $35, and at the end was charged $50…FOR WHAT?! Pedicure

I think the owner did my pedicure. She was super fast. When she was cutting my cuticles she was really rough and made me bleed. She did a everything really rough and fast. Paid extra to remove the callus’ from my heels which she didn’t really even remove. Dropped the stones on the floor, again because she was going so fast that if fell out of her hand. Overall not a good experience! I will never go back. Lesson learned.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. We called for a two person appointment for pedicures and one manicure. We felts onrush. Our feet were barely soaked. My manicure was done at same time but it was decent. However pedicures were horrible. I paid for the upgraded pedicures and left feeling like I was rushed and feet were still dry and heels dry and cracked. My toe poslish slid right off. It was either old Polish or put on too thick without letting time yo dry. I’m sure the reason this place got 2 stars is because we can’t pick zero stars. Don’t waste your time or money. It’s 2 stars for a reason. The positive reviews are probably fake. . We were desperate and out of town so we gave them a chance but never again.

The older lady who I believes owns this salon is awful. She is incredibly rude, rushes through and cuts corners. This is close to my house but I have had this experience several times with her and now will never go back again. Gel manicures

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’m doing my best to not cry right now. Before going in- I googled to see what time they closed, which stated 8pm. Before walking in, I asked if they’d take me for a gel manicure and gel pedicure, to which they agreed. I’m sat down and the older gentleman begins to roughly file my nails to remove the old gel I had. He didn’t remove all the gel and didn’t take the time to pre file my nails before painting them. He was pushing my hands away roughly and then the next Oder lady who I presume to be the own- roughly touches my shoulder telling me to go sit in the pedicure chair. She begins to very quickly and roughly drill at my old polish top coat. The drill kept slipping off my nail and cutting me. I was so anxious, I felt like a shivering and scared little puppy. As I’m sitting there, the workers are taking amongst themselves and asked if I called before coming in because they closed at 7. It took me a minute to realize they were being so rough because they were trying to get out at that time. I am the only customer there so I didn’t feel comfortable saying anything although it took my all to not want to run out. The lady wouldn’t allow time for my toes to soak in the acetone to gently remove the old gel. She very roughly just drilled drilled drilled until everything was forced off. I asked for a tip on a big toe as it’d chipped and she began putting structured gel but didn’t even allow that time to sit before filing at it and it crumbling. The guy didn’t cut my cuticles properly, didn’t cut my nails or even throughly shape them and was working so fast that he wouldn’t allow my nails to sit in the uv light for the full amount of time and each round being a completely different time. Not even the acrylic I asked for is glued completely and properly to my nail. It’s lifted and I got them done less than an hour ago. Because the old gel wasn’t properly removed- it can be seen as a bump underneath the new coats. The paint job on both my hands and toes are sloppy and I both are irritated and red from the drill. This was my first time here and I will not ever think about coming back or referring anyone here. I should have read the reviews beforehand. If time was such an issue, they should have explained that before allowing me to sit in their chairs.Services: Manicure, PedicureI’m doing my best to not cry right now.
