Positive: Valuetoday was my first time going to this nail salon…i really wish i knew the technicians name who did my gel manicure, she did amazing. good conversation while getting your nails done is hard to come by and usually i try not to even engage to be honest. this lady was so sweet and kind and she took her time doing my nails. it was a great experience and i would absolutely go back if i didn’t live in New Orleans. <3today was my first time going to this nail salon...i really wish i knew the technicians name who did my gel manicure, she did amazing. good conversation while getting your nails done is hard to come by and usually i try not to even engage …More

Tried it for the first time. Definitely won’t be going back. I had gel on from another salon, the lady rushed it off with a machine sander, versus the soak. The entire process was a rush job (sadly I was the only one in the shop so can’t understand why). The manicure top coat is thinned out with acetone. When I asked why it wasn’t shiny, I was told the weather causes it to be that way (can’t make this stuff up). To fix it, she put oil on it to “shine”. Cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired. Pumice stone was full of build up, the pedicure sinks look grimy. Only if APD Nails were open on Monday—that’s where I would have been. Disappointing experience for sure. Save your money and your time.

I wanted to treat my husband to a pedi while I was getting my nails done. They had him soaking for well over an hour and took 3 ladies ahead of him. I was told the male workers do NOT feel comfortable doing a male client’s feet, so he would have to wait until a female was available – ARE YOU KIDDING ME. We decided to leave without his pedi. This new manager does not communicate new policy well. They should have said that prior to him just sitting there while others went ahead of him. I had been a loyal customer for over 3 years, but am now open to finding another nail salon.

Everything was rushed. My nails came out nothing like I asked for. My sister brought me a gift certificate for wedding for a manicure and pedicure. But for my “safety” I couldn’t have my pedicure because I’m a plus sized and her chairs are old. I have never been turned down for a service before for my weight. So this morning before my wedding I’ll be getting my pedicure and my nail redone. I’m sorry my sister gave this business her money. Just go somewhere else. For you safety.

Terrible manicure! I was in a hurry so just stopped here since it was on my way. I waited for 30 minutes just to get started. And then I was barely spoken to. My nails are uneven and make them look terrible. The pain rubbed off after a day! And i asked why they weren’t shiny and had a weird look to them and she said it was because it was raining outside and rubbed some weird oil on them which did nothing. I will never waste my money here again. You guys shouldn’t either

I went with my sister and the lady who did our nails was rough the whole entire time. She insulted our height and then made my sister’s nails bleed then said it was cause she had “extra skin” can somebody please tell me what “extra skin” is. On top of it all she said the length we wanted was to long and proceed to cut them to her desired length. She also would not let us pick the under color of the glitter polish we wanted. At one point she would tell me stop before i get mad for no reason, If you have a hard time understanding ethnic accents then don’t go here. You know what just don’t go please for your own finger and nail safety. She also would stop in the middle of the painting and gluing on the finger nails she would call someone or take a call and also stop to text or answer a text. That is extremely rude when someone is paying you and you cant just wait till after. when i would try to make small trying to distract myself from the blood on my sister’s nails she would ignore me but had no issue with talking to the other employee.

I came to this salon today at 5:35 for a fill and to get my toes painted. I have been a regular customer. The man in the salon told me he could only paint my toes because they were getting ready to close. I looked on the door and verified with him that they stay open until 7pm. He said they do but they need time to clean up. Another customer asked an employee if they were trying to get out early and she replied “yes” This happens every time the owner Henry is not there, they turn away business. I used to love the way this place did my nails, but I am sure I can find someone else to take my 60.00 every other week, if they are so willing to turn away customers and business. The owner may need to install cameras to see what isn’t happening when he is not there.

After Henry left, the serve has really gone down. In Dec., I went to get refills plus a pedi for my husband. The men in the shop refused to give him a pedi, but I didn’t know that was happening until I noticed he was skipped 3xs. He had his feet in the water for over an hour and half before we decided to leave without him getting the service.

This place used to be greats until they got a new manager or owner. I have tried to give this place a chance, but I am just appalled with the customer service. I’m not sure if she is the owner or manager, but the woman that seems to be in charge is the rudest woman I have ever encountered in a business. She communicates horribly, is sarcastic, and rolls her eyes at customers. I got a mani and pedi and left a generous tip and she asked if that is what I was leaving for both people. I heard her ask three other customers about their tips too, who does that? The last straw was when an elderly lady came in with her grand daughter, they both wanted pedicures. The customer wasn’t understanding the managers questions and she manager was so rude to her. Rolling her eyes and yelling. I will not be back.

My gel manicure has now been on for almost 30 days. At all other places it has peeled off in the first week this is the first time it has actually stayed so long! Thank you!
