Ilana is great at what she does. I have braved highlights for the first time and cutting my hair to medium length (for the first time in over a decade) with her. She offers a great blend of doing what you are comfortable with, as well as offering suggestions that she thinks would look great (things that might even be a little outside your comfort zone) – but in the end, she always respects and does what you choose because she wants you to love it. She always seems to remember what was going on with you personally when you were last in and asks how those things are going, etc. – making a person feel cared about, to boot! Highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Ilana at Fashion Looks Hair Design. When I moved down here 10 years ago from New York, I went through several hair professionals until I met her. I have been going to her ever since and she is wonderful! We do highlights and cut, typically. Sometimes I get threading. She is highly skilled and trained and holds several certifications. She’s very accommodating for appointments and as a bonus, she gives the best scalp massages during the hair wash. Go see Ilana today!

I’ll start with the fact that my hair was a mess. It had been a few weeks since i had been able to brush my hair so it was a complete birds nest. Completely tangled and matted. I called and they were nice enough to fit me in asap, although it didn’t work for me, they were also able to fit me in later in the day which worked out great! I did mention my budget and they were more than accommodating. I showed up 5 minutes early and they took a look at my hair, i regret i didn’t ask/remember my stylists name, but she was very nice and patient with me and my hair. Took the time to thoroughly wash and detangle it. There was some pain but with the rats nest i had, it was expected lol. After shampooing, she brought me over to the chair and finished brushing out my knots. Then blow dried for no extra cost! Unfortunately I’m just passing through but if i was local, here would be my go to. They were very understanding and kind.
