I went yesterday for a haircut with Kelli and I am so happy with how it turned out! She has a great personality and I had an enjoyable time being in her chair. She took the the things I wanted into account while cutting my hair and gave me exactly what I asked for. I will absolutely be back for another cut! Super convenient location, very friendly staff, easy scheduling options, and a very clean and quiet location. The lady coloring my hair was extremely nice, however she turned my hair an orange/strawberry blonde color with blonde steaks. I was in her chair from 3PM until 8:30PM and they closed at 7.I had asked for a caramel color and showed her photos. After she colored my hair,she said sometimes you don’t know what the dye is going to do because your roots are hot. I understand this, but I’ve had this done in the past and my hair didn’t come out orange and I wasn’t trying to do the impossible. She knew she messed up because when we washed the dye out, her and the neighboring stylist tried to talk it up like the color was amazing and I still said it’s orange when she saw my face she’s like well let’s just dry it first. You don’t know what color it is until it’s dry. I said I can see it’s orange before you even dry it. Before all of this happened as I was already weary to try new stylists, I asked her how many years she’s been in this industry and she said 20. We set up an appointment for me to come in the following Tuesday and get a corrected. Again I am weary to do this with her not only because of the first time but because I’m putting more product on my hair. I told her can we just do a light brown like a chestnut color at this point I just want something that’s just not orange but I don’t want dark brown hair because that’s what I started with. She said okay we can do low lights and I said I want the orange gone. So what does she do ? She puts these lowlights in and leaves chunks of hair that are still Orange and it is prominent in my roots. At this point I have now been in her chair from 10:45 until 2 p.m. I still feel unsatisfied and that paying $240 later was a waste. I spent two days to end up looking like something I did not ask for. I chose to not say anything to her and just leave. What am I going to do? Try for a 3rd time? Again, very sweet lady, however I will never go back here again and I’ve told my friends to not come here.
