I have been sitting here for about an hour and the nail tech Lin took another client who came after I walked in without an appointment for her eye brow and had me waiting for a longer time. She seems to be taking extremely a long amount of time when she doesn’t like certain client this is not the first time she does this!! I’ve live in this area for many years and this place was my preference nail salon but ever since Kathy haven’t been working here Lin has been sort of acting like the manager in this place.. She does not treat people very well and always has a bad attitude. I am going to complain to the business bureau about the service they give in our community.

Nail tech did not do good job. Multiple times throughout the service I asked him to make corrections and he was annoyed with me and murmuring aloud. I ultimately had to ask the manager to step in and correct the issues. Instead of a nice relaxing experience, it was stressful. First time and last time.

I have visited this Fantasy Nail location infrequently over the years to get my nails done. Recently i visited her at 7pm on January 11 to get gel nails done on my fingernails, a Pedicure, eyebrows and face done. I spent over $70 in total for everything. My nails looked great. I left the next morning overseas and in less than ONE week 3 of my nails chipped. When I returned I walked in with my receipts to get the 3 nails redone. I gave the girl Tracey my receipt then she told me to talk to Peter. I waited until he finished with his clients gel nails about 10 mins for him to tell me it has been two weeks, which it was NOT and told me I had to pay to get my 3 nails fixed. Peter created a scene, yelled at me and then said he had to go to lunch and walked out of the store. He and Tracey refused to call the manager and claimed they didn’t have her number, she wouldn’t answer her phone, etc etc. They told me to come back tomorrow, which I could NOT. They didn’t even give the hours the owner would be here. BEWARE of this place POOR management and they do DO NOT stand by their work! Try Tony at Sky Nails near Shoppers on New Hampshire Ave. I hear he stands by his work and better customer service. Peter was rude and very condescending!!! I waited for ONE hour and asked several employees and they ignored me. POOR customer service! Thanks to the lady who saw everything and how he treated me, she told me Kathy was the owner and was there earlier but left.

Unprofessional people has no idea about customer service, overpriced for pedicure $25 with low priced nailpolish. They don’t carry anything like OPI or ESSI .when I asked them if they have those as options the lady Shrugged and got mad at me .they will treat you like you are nothing because of the neighborhood it’s located in. I just wanted to try this place because I just moved in the area but I will definitely continue to go to Nancy’s nail in Georgia ave who never disappoints me .

I used to go to Fantasy Nail every now and then just to pamper myself a little, EVERY TIME I’ve gone the experience is never better. Staff are rude, they skip you even after you’ve signed in. The nails don’t last and they are always trying to tack on additional prices. If you’re not careful the excuse that they don’t speak English is what they use, you’ll end up paying $30 when you just went for a $10 service.
