I’ve been going here for over 15 years! Of course there are high traffic days and others that aren’t. The days before a holiday or a big NYC event…don’t go unless it’s in the doors opened hours. I tend to go to the same person *she’s left to go back home. So I’m trying out some of the new staff. They don’t really speak English, buts it’s not necessary. The prices are good.

I found this place driving down Broadway around 8pm & realized they were still open. This place stays open later then most hairdressers Mon-Sun. I like the fact that they have multiple stylist. If you need a relaxer or your hair dyed they do an excellent job. My regular hair stylist only works two days a week but there is someone else I can go to there that does an excellent job also. Once you become a regular here you understand the way they do things for example the order in which you get your hair washed. There are women who just wash hair & they go in order but if you pick a hairstylist to do your hair that isn’t busy at the moment she will wash your hair immediately & you will have the women waiting giving you dirty looks because they don’t know the procedure. I think on busy days maybe the hair stylist could help wash hair especially when there are empty dryers I’m sure people will tip them & it will move people along quicker. They started selling water & soda which was an excellent idea because everyone goes to the bodega next door to buy may as well get the money in house. I love the new owner she’s a very sweet person & I have to say the prices are reasonable.

Avoid going on Saturday mornings, it will take you around 3-4hours to get your hair done. It’s not the most organized hair salon, specially in keeping track on whose turn it is.

Do Not GO Here. I had multiple stylists blow dry my hair here weekly after I moved to the city. When I went to different salon they showed me that the back of my hair was burned and broken. There are literal gaps in the back of my head where they broke my hair off with excessive heat. Also I asked for them to trim my ends and Dany cut layers instead , making it choppy and uneven. The store manager doesn’t even greet clients even tho I was a regular. Do not trust your hair to these people. I’ve never even seen their licenses. I’ve also seen hairdressers flat out refuse to cut my mom’a Hair Bc they don’t know how to do layers.

Dont go on a Saturday, I went last Saturday (I arrived at 11am and I was out by 5pm, very long wait time!). Waiting for a hair dryer was eternal.I was satisfied with the service though so I don’t have any complaints about it
